Ohhhhh shit. Excuse me while I FREAK OUT.

Apparently the deadline to apply for the Huayu Enrichment scholarship for studying Mandarin in Taiwan is the end of the month. THE END OF THE MONTH.

I've got to get my ass in gear if I'm going to make that timeline. It's not like it's impossible for me to go there without the scholarship, but hey, if I can save some money...

Oh God, thankfully none of that. I just have to fill out an application, take pictures (what is with the Asians and their pictures?!), and like, copy stuff (passport, school transcript, etc). The hardest thing is the references. Wtf? References to study Mandarin? i have none...

BUT I think I need to be accepted into a program prior to the scholarship, which is bad.

Not to mention the whole thing TERRIFIES ME!

...needing pictures is weird!
How many references do you need? I guess ask your boss..?

Ohh yeah, that's how college is, isn't it? (At least mine was)

It is, and I don't want to do it. I fucking hate pictures.

I have nooo clue. But like, why would my boss be interested in my Mandarin studies. I kinda want to leave it blank.

I have no clue. In high school, we applied for scholarships that weren't related to the college. They gave us the money, and we applied it towards the school we chose. I hope that's how this works, because honestly, I'm not going to be able to get both in by the end of March.
