I don't think I really had the lung capacity either! Well normally I was ok, but when I took up oboe (double reed, which requires more forceful breath) I found it out. I was in a special one on one lesson. The teacher was always like "Breath through your nose! You need to breath through your nose!" and halfway through playing once I just got SUPER dizzy and all the music was going in circles in front of me lol. The instructor was like, you need to go back to class now. So I did XD. Eventually I decided to focus on vocal, so I quit concert band. But omg I loved that oboe instructor! He was French and super cool! And when he had to leave he gave me this little gold Eiffel Tower key chain, haha.
