Another totally random entry.

I answered 20 more comments, so yay, entry!
My "reward for replying to comments" entries are going to be rather random, since I have to get everything I've been thinking out in only one entry. So I'll divide it up by cuts.
As I've alluded to, I'm not really able to use the internet at work anymore. I only got to today because my boss was gone, and I did it on the sly. It's okay though... only one more month.
Studying in Taiwan stuff
I got my final acceptance letter from Shida yesterday. Which means now the real work begins. I have to buy a plane ticket, and then get a visa. The plane ticket is more complicated than you'd think.
Since I'm traveling with
sn0tcat, we obviously want to be on the same flight. The problem there lies in that I live in Massachusetts, and she lives in Arkansas. So we have to find flights that coincide with each other. And for some reason, flights to Taipei from Boston have layovers that are in either Chicago, New York, DC, or Tokyo. Flights from Arkansas to Taipei have layovers in LA or Texas. So what we’re thinking is to book flights to LA separately, and book another flight to Taipei from LA, so that’d we’d be together. We could go separately, but that’d be kinda scary, AND boring. Flights to Taipei are LOOOONG. Especially for me, since I have to fly totally across the US, and then across the Pacific Ocean. I’m excited though. I’ve never seen the Pacific before. The farthest west I’ve been is Utah.
Anyway, two separate flights means that when we get to LA, we’ll have to do baggage again, and go through security again. I don’t mind security, as long as I have plenty of time. But redoing baggage means I have to pay a second time for checked luggage. I want to check two bags, so it’d going to be expensive. Plus, it’s a hassle, and I’m not going to be in the best state of mind at that point (whenever I travel I tend to freak out, and get super depressed for about a week after I leave home).
BUT we need a plane ticket in order to get our visa. And we leave in around a month and a half… And we’re still trying to figure out the exact dates we want to go. *sigh* So much work! Plus I somehow have to figure out how to get enough of my prescriptions (and I can’t imagine going for four months without my antibiotic. I think I’d cry. [I take it for my skin… it’s the only think that gives me nice pretty skin instead of evil gross skin]). There’s much to think about.
I’m not a stalker, I swear!
Yesterday I found the myspace of the guy I loved all throughout high school. And you know what? I still love him. After all this time... Course I can’t talk to him now due to an unfortunate incident where I actually DID come off as stalkery (it wasn’t my fault… I mentioned to my college roommate that I liked him and his music, and she proceeded to TALK TO HIM WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, USING MY SCREENNAME, and then he found out who’s screenname it was, and I was so embarrassed and never spoke to him again because he must have thought I was a total freak… Thanks for that, Jess…), so now I just fangirl him in silence. He’s a really good musician though. Seriously, he’s amazing. He plays cello (where I met and fell in love with him was in orchestra class), guitar, and I think he plays piano and bass as well. Plus his voice is really nice… It’s funny how you can look a person you loved years later, and either feel nothing or everything for them.
Kurosagi, THnK, and Atashinchi no Danshi
My drama viewings of Kuraogasi and THnK are going rather slowly (makes sense, since I’m watching about a trillion things at once), but they’re going. Last night I only got to watch one episode of Kurosagi (OMG is Yamapi pretty), and tonight I hope to watch at least one episode of each.
I still haven’t watched the subbed episode 10 of Atadan. I think I’m putting it off because I don’t want to finish it yet. The series ended today, and from what I’ve seen in caps and reviews, it was a good ending (though no true Sho/Chisato resolution). I’m hoping for a special with all of my heart. I love this show so very very much, and it’s hard to imagine it’s over now. Jdramas are good and bad with their length. I like how they’re fast, but sometimes I just don’t want them to end! I’m going to miss the brothers. OT7 FTW!
Random Big Bang ramblings
I know I said I wouldn’t do this, but I might actually buy two versions of the Gara Gara GO!! single. I want the DVD version, of course, but I kinda want both songs; Stylish AND So Beautiful. So much goodness is happening in YGFamily world right now. The two BB singles (one released TOMORROW, one released 08Jul09!), 2NE1’s mini album (released early July), YB’s new full length solo album (I don’t know when that’s coming out exactly), and GD’s solo album (the one I’m looking forward to the most! Supposed to be coming out sometime in August). Plus they’re releasing the Big Show concert DVD at some point. When exactly, I do not know. It was supposed to be this month, but I haven’t heard anything.
I think that’s it for now. I have a bunch of caps, but I can’t upload them now because of the internet-at-work thing. As it is I’m writing this is Microsoft outlook pretending it’s an email. *sigh*

Date: 2009-06-23 06:49 pm (UTC)Thanks! I do hope I'm not stalkery. The way I figure it, he was my first major love, of course I'm interested in seeing how he's doing now!

She really was, actually. One of the funnest people I've ever met, but I was still kinda pissed at her! Oh well, it's in the past!
