Libera me, Domine, de morte æterna, in die illa tremenda

So, 2NE1 did a radio show where they performed a few songs. They did their requisite "Fire", but they also did Rhianna's "Umbrella", and Big Bang's "We Belong Together"... I really like these performances because they didn't have to do all the choreography, and physically perform. So they got to have fun, and focus on singing without the pressure of a huge audience. The difference in performance is amazing with Park Bom. She's pretty shy and reserved when performing for lots of people, but she really did amazing here.

I was the most impressed with "We Belong Together". Park Bom sings on this song normally, so she was really confident and just blew it out of the park. CL and Minji were really good during the rap parts (especially CL, she's REALLY good, that girl). Dara wasn't amazing... I mean, she has a lovely singing voice, but it need a bit more training. She's not currently measuring up to CL, Bom, and Minji's really strong vocals. She got better during the second half though, and her energy is great.

I liked this cover of Rhianna's song a lot. CL was amazing, her English was amazing during the rap (Jay-Z who?), and her enunciation is damn near perfect. Plus, CL's singing is REALLY good. I think Park Bom's voice sounds a lot like Rihanna's anyway, so I thought she did a great job (though she started a bit weak, but I blame that on the fact that she really didn't know the lyrics), though I wish she had sung more. That tends to be a recurring theme in my reviews of their performances... MORE PARK BOM! Dara's voice is so sweet and pretty! And again, her energy is great! But what impressed me most about this performance was how damn good Minji is! Her voice is GREAT!

Okay, coherant speech is back! OMG I loved that MV. The set was lovely, the dancing was awesome, the girls meshed so well with the guys. It was perfect! Plus, LOTS of colors!

You know, the sad thing was, at around 4:45pm today, I remember looking at the clock and being like "It's almost 6am in Korea! I wonder if the video is out yet???!"...
