First Impressions: Ying Ye 3+1, episodes 2 and 3

I'm still REALLY digging Ying Ye 3+1 (did I just date myself? Does anyone say they dig stuff anymore? It was big in the 90's, I swear!). It's so utterly adorable. Xia Tian and Ah Jiang's relationship is so cute! It's very like Tian Yu and Jun Hao's relationship in PTtF... except without a lot of the saddness and angst. And Jun Hao was more of a dick than Ah Jiang is.

And Ying Ye 3 Jia 1 is set in high school, which is kinda bizarre. Twdramas are NEVER set in high school (from my experience)! ISWAK was, kinda... well it was for a short time. Then they went to college... And Goku Dou High School is obviously set in high school... but that's not a romance. Speaking of, I totally want to watch that drama! It's sci-fi!! Plus, Chuan Yi is in it, and we all know how much I love him.

He's like 20 cm taller than Tsung Sheng!!

Also, they have "foreigners" there (one is Caucasian, the other too are asian... maybe they're supposed to be Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese, or something...)! They are speaking broken english! The white dude is totally Russian or German... or something (the accent sometimes sounds Russian, sometimes sounds German... so whatever).

HAHAHA!!! Broken english! So cute!

Twdrama icons are seriously hard to find! I might have to start making some for myself (which in unfortunate, since I don't have any good photo editing software). Like, there are NONE for Ying Ye 3+1! Which means I get to make more use of the screencap function.

At some point (probably after my test in epi), I'm going to start writing reviews for some of the old dramas I've watched. That, and episode summaries. And picspams. It's hard right now, since I'm super super busy.

But I promise, they'll be more coherant than my first impressions posts!

In other news, I'm oddly fascinated with kpop right now. The Wonder Girls entertain me greatly. But my true love is still mandopop. At least I can sing along with it (well, some of it). Korean is VERY confusing to me.

ALSO! I'm DYING to see Say Yes Enterprise, but it totally hasn't been subbed yet! Flower Rain has it in their current projects, but they haven't started it yet, and I'm impatient, damn it! SYE is like, 40 episodes though... it's going to take awhile. (Flower Rain seems to be focused on subbing F4 dramas, which is good for me. They're doing Hi! Working Girl, Prince Taro, Chu Liu Xiang, The Hospital, AND Love Scar too (maybe even Come to My Place!), which is pretty awesome, since I want to watch ALL OF THEM, because I FREAKING LOVE F4!!!!)

Shit! Scent of Love was never subbed... Neither was The Legend of Speed!! Damn... well that ruins my list. Not that either were particularly high on the list (though I was looking forward to eventually watching Scent of Love), but still!
