Jdramas *shakes fist*

I just went on a jdrama downloading spree. I now have episodes of Anna-san no Omame. Atashinchi no Danshi (how did I not know Osamu was in this?! *dies from awesome*), and Nodame Cantabile (which Osamu is also in...).

Jdramas tend to seduce me with their brief episode length and low number of episodes. Getting through 30 90-minute episodes in a twdrama is a feat comparatively.

I got through most of the older comments. I still have more, but it's nearly 1am, and I'm tired. Plus it's HOT (I consider anything over 75F hot), which is sucking the energy from me.

I needn't have worried over whether I would like Becky in Anna-san no Omame.

I FREAKING LOVE HER! I cannot explain how awesome I find her. Oh yeah, she's annoying as all hell, but that's the best part! She's so sparkly, and colorful, and horrible, and cute! I think she's beyond fabulous.

Plus the show is DAMN funny.

Okay, so I was watched Atashinchi no Danshi, and totally had this interesting convo with myself;

"Is that a cape?
That's totally a cape.
He's wearing a cape!
A cape...
A CAPE!
He's WEARING A CAPE!
What a pimp!"



Is it strange that I find him and his cape pretty damn attractive?

Because I do. I SO have a weird older guy crush on him! I tend to squee and cap him a lot, which is kinda sad...
( But he's so adorable! )

Kusakari Masao.... hmm... yeah, I'd totally hit that.

OMG this show is crack. Delicious, amazing, wonderful crack!

Within the first 10 minutes I knew I was in love with Atashinchi no Danshi. The show is like crack. It reminds me a ton of Mei-chan no Shitsuji. It even has Osamu!

Except this time he doesn't have white hair, and he's a host.

The goddamn boy is beautiful. And he spends a good chunk of the first episode shirtless. In a towel. God. I KNEW I'd get obsessed with him after I saw Honey and Clover (I love you, Toma-kun, but OSAMU!).


Also, please God, PLEASE let this be the OTP! (Though it probably won't be... Kaname Jun will probably get the girl...)


And did I mention the sparkly makeup-wearing gay brother?


I'm seeing a bunch of familiar faces. I've seen;
The principal from Gokusen (Tayama Ryosei)
One of the forum users from Densha Otoko (Nasubi)
The blonde kid from jdrama Koizora (Seto Koji)
The other dude who wanted Mika in jdrama Koizora who wasn't Abe Tsuyoshi (Nagayama Kento... no wonder he looks so much like Eita...)

Did I mention how much I love this drama?!
