May. 1st, 2010 01:15 amI signed up for a free trial on ancestry.com, and have spent the last FOUR HOURS researching my ancestors. I wouldn't have thought it would be so in depth, since most of my family is pretty new to the country (I'm only third generation American on my mom's side, and fourth generation on part of my dad's side).
HOWEVER, I have a shitload of Texas German ancestors that go back to the mid 1800's in America.
( rambling about stuff )
My Swedish family is the hardest to research, as I have like, no records. I DO know that my Swedish great great grandfather whore-d his daughters out. Nice guy, that one.
The Irish are also hard to find records on. Which is sad, since my ancestry is mostly Irish.
I also love that I'm part Swiss! My great-great-great-great grandparents were from Switzerland!
As far as I can tell, I'm not related to anyone famous.
