Next Stop Happiness is so NOT a family story!!! haven't you been reading mine and dangermousie's posts on Autumn's Concerto?? it's an angsty, delicious love story with hurt/comfort, good-girl-reforming-bad-boy, hockey,evil stepfather ala Mars, and tons of themes taken straight from both Mars and the Outsiders, while managing to have its only lovely delicate bitterwsweet vibe at the same time!
anyway...all of which is to say, you should watch until at least the end of the 2nd episode:) - 2nd ep is where I was hooked.
