I think Peeps are a solely American/Canadian phenomenon. They're ubiquitous during the holidays (mostly Easter, but Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's etc), and most people either love them or hate them. I personally love them :D
I don't think we have that brand... We don't even have much Cadbury's (you can only really find the cream eggs and dairy milk/fruit and nut bars here, unless you go to a specialty store that sells British candy). The market's pretty cornered by Hershey's.
It's similar here, mostly it's chocolate eggs/bunnies, but jelly beans and peeps are pretty standard as well. (The molded sugar eggs are still around, but aren't as traditional as they used to be)
