(no subject)

SO! Tonight is my last night here before I leave for Taiwan tomorrow. I have my bags almost all packed and ready (after multiple repackings, I managed to get my checked bag under the weight limit of 20kg). I'm bringing a LOT of clothes. Seriously (and yes, I'm keeping a spreadsheet of my clothes, it helps in packing situations). BUT very little else. I only have my one big bag, a smaller carryon bag, and my backpack to carry my computer. Considering I'll be gone for four months, I think I did pretty well.

And I'm only bringing four books, so yay for me and my self control!

My family threw me a lovely "don't get lost" party, where there was cake, and presents (including a compass, so I don't get lost obviously), and then reminiscing over old family photos (the 80's = AWESOME hair).

I don't leave tomorrow until around 8pm, so I have plenty of time left over to do random stuff. And I'll probably post at least once before I go...
