Oh, Taiwan.
Aug. 13th, 2009 01:47 amI'm finally starting to feel better. Stupid cold virus took it's damn time.
I leave home on the start of my Taiwan trip in 4 days and 19 hours. I have my packing about half done. I have almost everything I'll need.
Last night we booked our hotel and hostel for the first ten days we'll be there (we're staying at the Hsuan Mei Hotel for the first three days where we except to SLEEP, and then we're staying at a cheap hostel until we can find an apartment). We're hoping we'll be able to get a place soon, since neither of us are particularly looking forward to more hosteling (we stayed in hostels when we backpacked europe, and well... the experience was one I enjoyed, but never want to do again).
Anyway, now that I'm feeling better, I'm going to try to start my comment replies. Unless I wake up tomorrow feeling shitty... I swear, this past week and a half has been a comedy of errors.
I've also been reading an epic Harry Potter fanfic that I originally read ages ago. I won't be able to rec it, since the author took it offline, but it's fabulous and I love it. It's also H/Hr, which I've had a craving for recently.
