So this has nothing to do anything whatsoever. But I'm bored at work (packing for move = DONE), so I figured I'd SPAM.
PICSPAM, that is. In particular, Mei-chan picspam. I collected a bunch of random pics that I took, but never posted. And I took a lot. I cap almost constantly.
These should be in order. Also, from the second half of the series + the end, so yes, SPOILERS.

Hey there Rihito and Mei. Awkward much?
So yes....

Hiro is orange.

Ohhhh! The shot of DOOOOM. Seriously, all that shot is saying is "look out! impending doom!"

Osamu = sex.

Oh nosebleeds! How I have missed your strange appearance...

Hand holding always makes me a bit squishy.

Seriously, WHEN DID YOU GET HOT OSCAR?!

I loved evil-hot-butler!Osamu so much.

Hot Oscar. It baffles me.

Tami was so awesome. So creepy. So crazy.

Those are actually pretty damn cute. Poor Hiro looks scared and confused. Yet I'm certain he's seen ladies underwear before...

HAIR

I love Miruku and Daimon. If she were older, I'd ship them like woah (I don’t know what’s with me and the late 90’s speak recently…)

He's all like "Bitch, PLEASE!" Poor Hiro, being lusted after by a psycho.

This scene KILLED me. It's so beautiful, and just meeeh. I felt so bad for Kento.

I cannot get over Nana's adorableness.

Wtf is he doing? I forget this scene.

I also cannot get over Hiro's hair. I can't tell if I'm really attracted to it, or highly bothered by it.

More hand holding! So cute! Love how Nana is taller than Takeru...

HIROOOO!

OSAMUUU!

Way to kill me, Mei-chan. Seriously, this is DAMN HOT to me. The fighting! The testosterone! The KNEELING AT HER FEET! MMmmmmm yes.

They gave Hiro fabulous lighting throughout the drama.

I took this cap not for the epic!crazybitch, but for the roses. They're a really interesting, lovely color.

Mmmm yes, join forcesto fight crime...

I capped this scene from every angle.

I want a giant shiny diamond hair clip... And Hiro. And Nana's legs.

Gah! Dress! Want it! Except without the ruffly shoulder piece.

I love how he's not actually touching her. Oh Japan...

However, you'll be glad to note that Japan redeemed itself with this shot. HUUUG!

I wanted Mei to bitchslap Shiori (the name Shiori will always remind me of bats, btw. Thanks Inuyasha! Kinda apt here though.)

Hot butler caged swordfights! Niiiiice.

They're so cute together.

"Kento?!" Lol! Like they forgot he existed.

NANA I LOVE YOU

I LOVE YOU TOO HIRO

Despite everything, I did kinda ship Mei/Kento. Slightly.

Beautiful shot!! The lighting is gorgeous. I never cap kisses, because they always come out looking weird and awkward. Much better to watch in action ;P

I love how he looked at her. So sweet.

Date: 2009-04-02 05:53 pm (UTC)Though I wasn't a huge fan of the second half of this drama I LOVED the finale. So much hand holding, hugging, and kissing~~ I didn't know what to do with myself.

Date: 2009-04-03 06:38 pm (UTC)I liked the whole drama (I'm easy to please), but you're right, the finale was GREAT. It was so atypical jdrama, which is definitely a good thing!

I think it's adorable. They seem quite young to be taking that step, but I can't help but be a little giddy because HOW SWEET.

I KNEW HE REMINDED ME OF SOMEONE!! So that was Oscar? What? o_O I was lost without the cape and the faces :p.
3- OSAMUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!
4- The hair was one of the most interesting thing in this drama actually XD.
5- OSAMUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!
And now ou know exactly why (or for whom) I kept watching that drama XD.

Date: 2009-04-03 06:42 pm (UTC)It took me many many episodes to actually place Kyo Nobuo. I knew I had seen him somewhere before, but I couldn't figure it out. I think it just suddenly hit me that he was Oscar. He looks SO different in Mei-chan, it's ridiculous! Like, he suddenly turned hot.
The hair was definitely interesting. I honestly can't figure out if I hate it or love it.

Date: 2009-04-05 02:09 am (UTC)Using no English subs is part of this, all Japanese all the time method of learning. It just depends on what I'm watching and what the content is. Sometimes I understand alot, other times it's WAY over my head. I like the different ways of talking in this drama and the way the different butlers talk too.

Date: 2009-04-08 03:06 am (UTC)Impressive! I couldn't do that with my skill level in Mandarin. I can understand bits and pieces (and can occasionally read small amounts of stuff), but nowhere near enough to watch something and understand it. Taiwanese shows are confusing too, since they often include random Taiwanese. So I basically wouldn't know if they were speaking Mandarin or Taiwanese.

Date: 2009-04-08 03:46 am (UTC)It's really not that impressive, sometimes I just don't understand what they are saying. The thing with drama is that there is pictures so you can at least guess sometimes (though when I do understand, even if it's only parts, it makes it easier to guess lol).
Ex. when I was watching Innocent Love, at first I thought the Hiroki character was in love with person A, but then I thought well maybe he was in love with person B (like they TRIED to make you think). Well come to find out later I was right the first time (based on something he said later) LOL But I think it was because the second time I wasn't understanding it correctly so that's why I got confused. (used letters in case you wanted to watch it XD)
Also in Mei-chan somehow I totally missed them saying that Mameshiba and Rihito were brothers lol. I re-watched the ep and right when it came up was the word "kyoudai" (siblings). I just didn't hear it or wasn't paying enough attention or something because I do know that word. (Although it wasn't like they came out and said "you two are kyoudai!" It was more like the woman randomly saying "EH!? Kyoudai!?" lol)
I don't even know why it didn't click in my head because when they did the butler switching the balls friggin' had the characters for "elder brother" and "younger brother" on them after the name Shibata lol *idiot*Or looked at the relationship chart on drama wiki lol.
When watching sometimes I'm very engaged in listening and sometimes I'm not as much. Listening to it and trying to actually hear sounds and makes sense is kind of tiring. So sometimes my brain just starts to drift off lol. As long as I'm listening it's ok though. (And sometimes I fall asleep watching it XD)
It seems hard to watch Taiwanese drama that switches to the Taiwanese! I guess the more you know Mandarin you'll be able to tell right away I think. I don't know how closely related Taiwanese is to Mandarin though. But even if you understood Mandarin you'd have to understand Taiwanese ne! Wiki says they often switch between the two in spoken media. Which seem SOO annoying, like why? Use one or the either right? Man languages are so complex @_@!! I have to be honest and say I don't know that much about Chinese languages. But just reading on wiki is overwhelming right now lol. There seem to be so many different variants depending on region etc. Studying it all is definitely more than a life's work it seems! I wonder how all these differ from each other and how much they differ.
Whoah sorry long ass reply lol.

Date: 2009-04-08 04:09 am (UTC)Ahh, but Innocent Love is crazy anyway (I got through one episode, and was totally baffled! That is one screwed up drama!). He's in love with the main guy (who has one of the most fabulous smiles I've ever seen), right?
Hehe! The sibling thing didn't matter that much though. Other than sibling rivalry. Hehe! I miss stuff like that all the time. IN ENGLISH.
That makes sense. Like with Japanese, you have to differentiate accents, right? It's like that in Mandarin, which makes it hard to listen to and understand.
Mandarin and Taiwanese DO sound very different. Normally I'd be able to tell them apart, but sometimes it just doesn't click. Mandarin only had four tones, Taiwanese has 8 tones. Like the difference between Cantonese (9 tones) and Mandarin. I listen to Mandarin all the time, so I can tell if someone is speaking Cantonese. But I wouldn't be able to tell Cantonese and Taiwanese apart.
Okay, that got confusing. Almost all Taiwanese people know both Mandarin and Taiwanese (most Taiwanese consider themselves different from China, so they like to keep some independent things).
Chinese languages are REALLY confusing. I remember reading about them before I got in Taiwan, and being totally confused. Even something simple, like Mandarin, has a TON of different dialects. Standard Mandarin sounds different than Taiwanese Mandarin. It's confusing, and I have no idea how they understand each other! I want to learn Mandarin seriously, but I want to learn Taiwanese Mandarin, so I'm not going to get the right education here. Thus my wanting to go overseas to study.
Heh! Don't worry. I also write long replies!

Date: 2009-04-13 02:43 pm (UTC)Yes it is XD. At first they try to fool you by acting like, oh naturally people are going to assume he's in love with the girl. There's a scene and he's on a boat during xmas or something, and a girl comes up to him and asks "Are you waiting for someone?" And he just says "No", so she's like, oh let's hang then! But he's like, "Sorry there's someone I like already."So you're thinking, there's someone he likes, but they won't be coming!! lol. I thought, holy crap everyone in this drama is in love with the main guy!! lol.
But YES omg his smile is FANTASTIC!! I would fall in love with him too! <3 He's super sweet and his smile makes me melt lol. That guy is in the group Yuzu, and he's 32!!!! Can you believe that crap!? I wanna meet a guy like that XD Omg I love this drama, looking back at the first ep makes me wanna watch it again. (If you can't tell I love shoujo style stuff XD As long as it doesn't get TOO twisted up, this one was twisted just enough lol)
Yea, usually I have a harder time understanding older guys who slur a ton lol. I could never understand the detective in Innocent Love. That might be a combination of the subject matter + the way he talked. But it's good to hear it, because it will get my ear used to hearing it and eventually I'll be able to pick out the words even if I don't know them..
That makes sense! I can't tell any Chinese language apart! The only thing I can tell is, Japanese vs. Korean vs. Chinese. (Well I can tell if it's not those three too. Because languages like Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese just sound different, but I really couldn't tell you which one it is XD Although these days the ladies at work are starting to pump me up with new Cambodian words lol)
Wow that sounds so confusing @_@! There are so many variations on languages it's crazy! But I think languages are really interesting, so I want to learn as much as I can! I hate only knowing English. It seems so hard for Americans to go to other countries, but easier for foreigners to come into America, but maybe that's just a bad interpretation. I really wish to travel alot and study or work abroad.

Date: 2009-04-17 05:22 pm (UTC)Heh, I think I'd fall in love with him too, he's cute! Though kinda creepy, what with the keeping the comatose girlfriend in the locked back room...
I cannot believe it! Damn Asians and their whole not-aging thing! I like twisted stuff too... I LOVED Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003, and that was all kinda of screwed up.
I wasn't able to until I started listening to it basically all the time. I can tell if something is Vietnamese for some reason, but probably not Cambodian, despite living next to the second largest Cambodian popular in the US...
I want to learn a lot more languages too! Unfortunately I'm not the best at learning them. Though I have picked up a lot of Mandarin on my own, so hopefully it'll be easier for me. I think the hardest thing for me are nound genders, and since Mandarin doesn't have that, it'll be a lot easier for me. I want to travel incessantly. I hate being in one place for too long :D

Date: 2009-04-17 11:46 pm (UTC)Yea, he's a little TOO dedicated to her isn't he! I mean, in real life, the chances of her ever waking up are just about nothing after so many years. If I were his friend I'd be like, man Junya you need to let go already...It's more selfish to keep someone alive like that. If you really care about someone you'd realize that's no quality of life for them.
It's so strange, I think there is the most Cambodians working at the club than any other!
It takes time to REALLY learn a language ne! But it's not very useful if you only kind of know a language. Might as well really know it, if you're gonna learn it! I think I have the hardest time leaning noun gender stuff like French and Spanish too! I just like the way languages like Japanese and Korean are laid out. They also just interest me more. I don't have much interest for Spanish at all lol. As fa as romance languages go, the one I'm most interested is Italian.
That's pretty much what I want to do. I want to travel!! I need someone who will travel with me though, because it's funner with someone else (and not as scary XD!)

Date: 2009-04-20 12:20 pm (UTC)I agree, it was kinda creepy the way he clung to her. How long had she been comatose?
Really? That's funny! Kinda like how in Europe, every single internet cafe we went to was run by Indians...
Definitely, like I know enough German to get around in German speaking countries, but I always feel kinda dumb there. I wish I had gotten fluent. Maybe one day. Stupid noun genders, they're useless!
I'm far more interested in the way Mandarin is laid out too. In some ways I think it's a ton easier than Japanese (don't know about Korean, which confuses me quite a bit!), actually. Like, in Mandarin sentence structure is the same as english. That alone makes me love it. I hate Spanish, and refuse to learn it... My favorite of the romance languages is Italian too! I have a whole list of languages I'd like to learn, but right now I want to focus on Mandarin. If I just learned Mandarin, I think I'd be happy.
I don't like traveling alone either! I've done it before, but it IS less fun, and a ton scarier. Like, right now I want to go to Taiwan (or Korea, or Japan!) SO BADLY, but I don't think I could possibly go to Asia for the first time alone without speaking the language.
