I know I just posted, but I'm feeling productive today. Plus this had to be shared.

FIRST OFF! GD posted a small bit of one of the songs off his solo album!!! *freaks out because it's amazing as per usual* SO CAN'T WAIT!

Last night/this morning (time difference, you know) on SBS Inkigayo, they had a girl group special. It ended up being different than what I expected, but no matter. You guys remember this video where members of SHINee, SuJu, 2AM, and 2PM sung Gee? Well, SBS Inkigayo wasn't going to let Music Bank have all the fun, so they did their own.

So here's a bunch of guys singing SNSD's "Tell Me Your Wish". Key and Tae Min from SHINee (I admit, I don't know either of them), Taec Yeon and Woo Young from 2PM, and MC Mong (surprise guest!!!). The best part, THEY KEPT THE CHOREOGRAPHY. With the leg tricks and everything.

Sometimes I wonder about the SHINee boys. They're so small and delicate, and apparently really good at imitating SNSD... Are they Jpop idols in disguise?! Taec Yeon was hilarious to watch, because he's REALLY tall and just big. Poor thing was probably like "... wtf have I gotten myself into?!". I did like his sailor hat with the pink ribbons on it. Mc Mong was great too, because it's so random and odd, and just COOL.

They also had a special stage where 2NE1 sang "Last Farewell", which is a Big Bang song. I was a little iffy on this one, because while I adore 2NE1, they can't compare to BB in my mind. But I'm glad it turned out REALLY well. I attribute that to Park Bom singing a lot on the song (her voice fits electronica really well) and CL's perfect rendition of GD's rap. I love the attitude the girls were giving (THANK YOU for bringing back the cool ass Park Bom!), and it just came out really well.

And 2NE1 won this week, which means they got a Mutizen Triple Crown!! Yay for them!!

O. M. G. The Girl Group's special was jaw-dropping. So frickin' awesome... ah, I love Kpop and their idols in all its goodness. The leg extensions and the tricks and MC Mong and ... wow, I just re-watched the video three times *grins* How young are those SHINee boys anyways? They cannot be over 14 yrs old... seriously. They're too cute for words.

Wasn't it? I adore when shows like Inkigayo and Music Bank do these specials, because they're always filled with amazing acts.

The dancing during "Genie" was HILARIOUS. I seriously felt so bad for Taec Yeon! He's just not built to be dancing around like that ;P

SHINee are YOUNG. Two of them are 19, two are 17, and one is 16 (the ones who performed: Key = 17, Tae Min = 16). But yeaaaah, they're practically babies.

Taec Yeon looked awkward... but MC Mong seriously kicked ass during this song ^___^ I love it how he can look so cool and awesome and 'masculine' (if you can call it that) during this song.

and yea, SHINee is young... and I totally agree with you on the 'j-idols in disguise' comment. *NO WAY* are these boys 100% Korean kpop idols.

*not going to admit that I watched the video two more times*

The boys should have definitely worn the bunny ears and danced around a bed, though, and had fake pillow fights in the middle of the performance. I'm still waiting for a parody of the mv to be made, as you can probably tell.

I honestly felt bad for Taec Yeon (and Woo Young to an extent). Honestly, they should have brought in Jo Kwon from 2AM, and Heechul from SuJu. They would have rocked it!

It's like they're aspiring to be J-pop LITE. They dress fairly normally (for a boyband) but they're so small and delicate!

HAHA!! THEY SHOULD HAVE! OMG a remake of the Genie video with guys would be AWESOME.

Wouldn't they have?! If they replaced Taec Young and Woo Young (who are awesome, but just not right for the song... too manly), it would have been super amazing.

I loved MC Mong's part too! He was really working it.

Eh, I KNOW! I really like it though. I love the beat, and GD's rap is amazing, as per usual. I so can't wait until I can get my hands on his album!

I found the clip of FT Island playing "Fire" by 2NE1, "Pretty Girls" with Kara, and then their song "I Hope". It wasn't as good as the Genie performance above, I admit, but it sure was amusing.

I googled "Genie mv parody" and it came up with random Japanese ladies dancing to the song, a Filipino teenager-boy who shaved his legs and did the choreography wearing short-shorts in his living room (impressive but disturbing) and a parody by a Korean comedian which probably *WOULD* be funny if I understood what the heck the women was singing as a parody :P
