uiscerosOkay, I tried a few eyemakeup imitations from the "Try to Copy Me" MV.
The basics were simple, it was just getting to fit my eye that was hard. My eyes are round, deep set, and heavily double lidded. Basically as non-Asian as you can get. Incidentally this means that I cannot possibly make the makeup look exactly the same as it does on the 2NE1 girls. So I altered it for my eyes. (They look better in person, since the light sucks here... it IS 4am...)
I also didn't have nearly the same amount of false eyelashes that they used, so I compromised.
I love this look on CL, but then, I love black eyeshadow. A lot. However this is definitely not an everyday look. You can make it more wearable by cutting back on the winged liner, losing the fake lashes, and lightening up on the color. (Few people can pull off black shadow for everyday. You need strong features to counteract the intense eye)
Two layers of liner, and a matte black shadow to get that rich blackness. I added false lashes, and lots of mascara. (Used: Stila mascara and eyeliner, Sugar false eyelashes, and Model's Prefer eyeshadow)
Yes, I have crazy sanpaku eyes... But my eyebrows look fantastic here!
I thought Bom's shadow would be easy, as it turns out, not. The liner was fairly simple, except it's near impossible for me to do a double wing with my eye shape. The icy blue is what messed me up, since apparently I do not have that color (I must have gotten rid of it during my last makeup purge). Either way, tone down the eyeliner a LOT, and this could easily be worn for everyday.
Same eyeliner and lashes from before, with three different eyeshadows that I put all over my lid, up into the browbone, and beneath my lower lash line. I used a pale cool blue, silver with glitter, and finally another coat of pale silvery blue. (Used: Stila eyeliner, Sugar false lashes, Streetwear cream shadow (pale blue), Urban Decay eyeshadow (glittery silver), and tarte eyeshadow (pale silvery blue))
And then I gave up, because the skin on my eyelids is super sensitive, and it started burning...
