Deep Love, episode 1

princess_dexter recommended Deep Love to me. As soon as I real the summary, I had to watch it. I mean, it's a love story between a teenage prostitute, and a kid with a heart problem. It practically screams "hey, I'm fucked up! Come and watch me..." And as we all know, I tend to like the really insane dramas.
Anyway, one episode in, I can say it's plenty interesting. Though I have to say, Ayu is not a very good prostitute, especially for what she's charging. I KNOW that her lack of emotion is supposed to be because she's all empty inside, but still. Either Japanese men are ridiculously easy to please, or they're just willing to sacrifice so they can bang a schoolgirl.
Poor Ayu is empty inside... she kinda looks like a mannequin here.
I never knew teenage prostitution was so rampant... Ayu introduces her bubbly friend to it. All I can say is, not a very good friend. And is is just me, or is her skirt obscenely short?
I have to say, I laughed at this scene. The guy was SO off the wall. And Ayu just serenely takes off her underwear, and crouches over his head. And other girl is like "SO COOOOL!!!!!!". Uhhhhhhh...
This is the kindly old grandmother who has an impact on Ayu's life, and inadvertently introduces Ayu to the sick kid. I like old Japanese ladies, they're always portrayed as kindly - as opposed to older Korean ladies, who are angry.
Toto, we're not in normal jdrama land anymore. THIS is why I like older jdramas. Also, WHO is that guy?! Hawt.
Random puppy! I don't think she ends up keeping him, but I wish she had. Because it's a PUPPY!
