I'm at work. I'm bored. It's my first day, and I'm reading long boring documents. So I need a break before I either fall asleep, or my brain melts.

I sense a pattern...

IDK, I don't like the new songs more than the 4th mini. I honestly like the fourth mini better. It's more my style. I still like the new songs, but I don't see why everyone's acting like the 4th mini sucked so much and the new songs are so immensely better... They're a total different style. I can't compare beyond my personal tastes.

EH. I'm tired. Save me from boredom, please?!

Yay for Japanese songs represented! :) I don't get how some international fans could just dismiss their Japanese songs as "simply not as good as their Korean ones". They have some great Japanese songs too!

Personally, I could never reduce my favorite Big Bang songs to 15.

In general I don't like the Japanese songs as much, but that's mostly because they are, essentially, jpop. And I'm not the biggest fan of jpop. It's a sound preference, I guess. Apparently I don't much like the sound of Japanese when it's sung. Putting that aside, yes, some of the Japanese songs are great. Gara Gara GO!! will always remind me of Taiwan (I watched it a lot on Taiwanese tv when I was there - it was very exciting), so there's some nostalgia there.

It gets easier when you throw out all the solo songs. And since I'm not a big fan of slower songs in general, that narrows it down quite a bit.
