One of these days I'll post something interesting... OH! Actually, Lisa discovered a website with information on an actual sort of "Little Seoul" in Taipei! I will travel there as immediately as I can. She also found information on a Korean entertainment store in Ximending! YAY! I was this close to tracking down some Koreans at school and begging them in broken Mandarin.

I have a quiz tomorrow, and I don't feel like studying AT ALL. I'm dead tired. Maybe because instead of studying I was reading Tin Man fanfic and rewatching Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3 (btw, did anyone hear the announcement of the fourth one? It half excites me (because OMG JOHNNY DEPP!), and half bothers me (I'm a Jack/Elizabeth shipper, she's not going to be in the fourth one as far as I know))

As for my fantasy drama... well, it's not really a drama. It's a movie, a Taiwanese movie. And it's about the end of the Japanese rule of Taiwan, and the early days of the KMT government, culminating in the 228 Incident. There would be spies, and betrayal, and intrigue, and tragic romance.

Watched episode 10 of My Queen. Couldn't really understand what was happening, but I DO know I'm EXTREMELY pissed at Yun Hao. Bastard leaves the AMAZING Wu Shuang right before their wedding, and doesn't send word to her for SIX YEARS, and then suddenly decides to appear in her life again, JUST as she's starting a relationship with Lucas. JUST as she's feeling confident in her appeal again. And now he's confusing her, because despite him being an asshole, Wu Shuang loved him.

Yun Hao = BASTARD.

As far as I can tell, despite being (rightfully) upset with the whole situation, Wu Shuang isn't giving him the time of day. The previews for the next episode look like Yun Hao actually does worm his way into her life again, which makes sense. Because, despite being amazing and kickass, Wu Shuang is highly fragile. She doesn't really have friends, her coworkers are horrible to her, and the love of her life left her without any explanation. It's no wonder she'd fall back on him, even though HE'S AN ASS.

(He's an ass for leaving her, but he doesn't appear to be a bad person otherwise. The indomitable Wu Shuang would never fall for a horrible guy. So, as asshole-y as he's being, I don't think he's normally such a douche.)

Gah! Wu Shuang, you deserve SO MUCH BETTER. You're AWESOME. Hook up with Lucas, for goodness sakes! Be a cougar!

(I'm so in love with Cheryl Yang now, and will have to watch everything she's been in. Luckily most of them are already on my list. And hey! She was in My Secret Garden with Ariel! And I REALLY want to see Qian Niu Hua Kai De Ri Zi now, it looks super good!)
