Okay, so I finally finished BBF, and honestly, I loved the damn show. Really. Loved it. And there is no time when I won't love it.

The end wasn't as satisfying as I would have liked, though it was better than the ending to Meteor Garden. The time jump here was canon, so I didn't mind it as much. It was actually nice to see their relationship after four years. No other version has done it (not even the manga, unless you count that special chapter that took place 2 or so years later!), so it was nice to see that. It was also nice to see that Ji Hoo became a doctor. In all the other versions he was kinda directionless.

And squee! The Ga Eul / Yi Jung ending was totally sweet!

I totally want more! This of course means I am HIGHLY tempted to rewatch HYD and MG. Might not come to pass though, as it would mean finding the discs.

And was it me, or was Yu Mi a ton bitchier than any other versions? I HATED her.

So, I uploaded 50 screencaps for this drama. And that was AFTER I cut them down... twice. Obviously I have a screencaping problem. Regardless, I thought almost all of them were important to share, so yeeess.

Btw, the liveblog part might not make a lot of sense. And it's more fangirlish than usual... Also, fair warning, I really like Jae Kyung. I've always liked Shigeru.

I'm REALLY tired right now, so I can't really explain WHY I love this episode, I just do, intensely. Ji Hoo = ♥! Jun Pyo = ♥! Yi Jung = ♥! Woo Bin = ♥!

I youtubed BBF ep 15, as I can't seem to get the download for the first part (via arashi.vox) to work. I have all the other parts... I'm hoping it'll work soon.

The previews confuse me! Why does Jun Pyo have straight hair? What's with Yi Jung and Ga Eul? Did Ji Hoo finally figure out old crabby doctor man is his grandfather? Can't WAIT until tomorrow!

In other news, my Big Bang posters shipped out today (Tomorrow, technically. Oh times zones, how you confuse me)!!

Oh!!! Random comment from episode 12; WOO BIN IS AWESOME! Suddenly he's so badass! I'm glad they're giving him more screentime, I really like him (Oh! It just occurred to me that maybe the reason they had him speaking random english in the first few episodes was to possibly mimic what Vanness did in MG... Vanness spoke a fair amount of english in the first few episodes. If true, that would be awesome. I love Vanness... which is random, but whatev)

Ohhhh my God, BBF episode 12 rocked my world. ROCKED MY WORLD.

They not only had the ski thing, but they ALMOST went as far as the manga did. I tried very hard to suspect disbelief as far as the "snowstorm" was concerned, but really, BBF? You can't fool us who are down with snowy weather. It would have worked better in Canada, where it was supposed to happen... but I mean, even HYD had better snow effects. But I'll forgive you!!

I'm really excited to see what happens in episode 13! I hope it'll still air next week (I don't know how Korean drama schedules work, but like, in the US, the ending for episode 12 would have signified a new season).

BBF resembles HYD more than it resembles MG. Not that that's a bad thing, just interesting.

Also, the Ga Eul / Yi Jung relationship is awesome. I'm really looking forward to what they do with it.

And Ji Hoo is perfect. He's like, the best my awesome guy ever. I'm insanely in love with Jun Pyo, but I still love Ji Hoo immensely. This means I'm going to start having to listen to SS501 now...
