First Impressions: Wish to See You Again, episode 12

- Kinda hating Lu Yi right now... I mean, I don't HATE her... she's dealt with a LOT. I mean, Ah Hao was totally mean to her. I know she still loves him (somewhat) but why Oh dear God why can't she see just how amazing Xiao Ma is?!
- I love how Xu Le is like, totally and completely incapacitated without Nancy!
- Chen Yan Xi is soooo pretty! Ridiculously so! She should wear her hair down more though... I think they purposefully made her wear her hair up a lot to give her a girl next door sort of look, whereas Terri is like, the exotic beautiful girl type...
- Chuan Yi!!!!! I love you soooo much! You're so cute with your pink shirts, and awesome hair!!
- Also, I love how Chuan Yi FINALLY gets some action. Well, technically he got action in Mars, but then he died, so it doesn't count.
- Zai Zai is so awkwardly cute! It's perfect though, because he's falling in love for the first time. Nancy too! She's adorable, and shy, and it's all just great!
- I wonder why Vanness didn't record the english version of 體驗.... I mean, the L2M version is great and all, but I always wondered why Vanness didn't record it...
- I listen to the WtSYA OST the most... and thus know all of the songs. I don't know what they MEAN (mostly, I can pick out phrases), but I know most of the chinese lyrics!
- Squeeee! Leo!!! I love Vanness soooooo much in this drama! God does that boy have nice hair!
- OMG F3 together in a scene!! *sigh* If I were Yan Xi, I totally would have died. It would have been nice if Jerry could have been in the show (though again, I do like Chuan Yi better...)
- I want cool bendy straws like all of Taiwan seems to have!!
- Oh my God.... hearing Xu Le describe how he feels about Neng Xian... I'm like, a totaly puddle of mush.
- Poor Leo! Xu Le IS being pretty selfish and self pitying... Like noone else has ever been an orphan?!
- Is Leo tricking Xu Le? That's not Xu Le's mother!
- He totally was tricking him!
- EWWW! Vanness just totally spit. Gross.
- HEY! It's the Why Why Love mall!! Yay for random Taipei landmarks that I recognize in multiple dramas (speaking of, there's this one stretch of road in taipei that they ALWAYS use. I've been it in multiple dramas...)
- Xu Le and Neng Xian are so sweet. Rain scenes always get me... I want a rain scene someday! It has to be rain. Pouring rain.
- I read a review once where they mentioned Xu Le pulling the ring out of thin air, and ever since then, that's all I can think about during that scene. Seriously, where does it come from?! I assume he just carries it around, but why?
- The camera tilting is kinda making me ill... Also can't think of a reason why they'd employ that technique... usually that sort of camera handling is meant to show confusion.... it doesn't translate.
- Vanness just randomly spoke some english. I always get amused and excited when he does this!
- Leo is such a flirt! I love it! So cute!
- I'm sad to see Leo go! He was so awesome!
- I love how close Neng Xian and Xiao Ma are! I love friendships! They make me happy!
- I want to go to Longshan temple!! I know how to work the divination thingies there!
- Xu Le is so adorably clueless when it comes to Ma Pan's meddling!
- OH!!! Previews!!! Stupid Lu Yi, breaking Xiao Ma's heart AGAIN. I just don't understand. He's soooooo good to her! Why, why must they hurt Chuan Yi so much!!?!
- And I totally don't understand why Xu Le moves in with the Pans...

HEY! At the end of the episode, there was an ad for Honey and Clover (taiwanese edition)... and weirdly enough, I knew it was Honey and Clover from one single still shot... I recognized the Mayama character's trench coat! I like how in the taiwanese version, they make the Mayama character (Den Zhen Shan) the more central character, instead of the Takemoto character (An Zhu Ben). I think it's because Joe Cheng is the most popular, so they naturally top billed him.

(Random ass note, the guy who plays Ren Sen Tian (Morita-san) in Honey and Clover, was totally in Scent of Love!)

I have notes for Ying Ye 3+1 ep 2 as well, but they're not ready for release yet. I wish I could watch more, alas, I must sleep. Mondays are rough on my drama schedule. I watch The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and True Blood, so I don't get much drama action.
