I managed to watch episode 6 of BBF as well!


Yeah, Jan Di drowning, totally unrealistic. Poor Jun Pyo though!

Ah! Another appearance by Borbes! This time in evil mother's office!

Mmmmm fanservice. Jun Pyo is always doing his angsting while wet. It makes for a much better show.

Rui angst!

I kinda feel bad for Woo Bin here, he's not getting much of a storyline (though he does get two white girls!). Yi Jung on the other hand, is totally getting an awesome part. You know, come to think of it, Akira never really got a good part in any of the dramas. He had a storyline in the manga. Hell, he was in love with Tsukushi too!

You know, I've REALLY got to hand it to Lee Min Ho. Every single time he looks at Koo Hye Sun, I melt. They've got some awesome chemistry, and it almost feels like he's totally in love with her in real life.

She's all falling in love with him. So cute!

Poor Ji Hoo. I don't understand Shizuka (Seo Hyun, ne?). How could anyone ever leave Rui? HOOOOOOOWWWW?!

Goo Jun Pyo... just... *sigh*. (WOAH. I totally just got a Meteor Garden flashback, when Ah Si is calling Shan Cai after she's kicked out of her home, and leaves her a ton of messages, and the last message is just him repeating her name over and over again "Shan Cai..... Shan Cai..... Shan Cai". Ah, that killed me. I think that scene is why I love Jerry Yan so intensely.)

I like Yuki (Ga Eul) a lot better in this version. I loved jdrama Yuki, because she was adorable and stalkery, but this Yuki is pretty cool, since she's not falling all over herself to get with Yi Jung.

The white girls are ALWAYS in bikinis... Speaking of, dark haired white girl did not look very pleased to be hugged by Lee Min Ho. I mean, really white girl? REALLY?! (By the way, maybe I should mention that I am totally white, so it seems less offensive that I'm always like "hey, WHITE PERSON!" I get excited when I see random white people in asian dramas, because I totally aspire to be like them)

Hehehehe someone (Woo Bin?) just said "play ball", but it sounded like he said "prey boar". So cute!

Poor Jun Pyo! He's totally freaking out!

I love how Jun Pyo is kayaking so furiously, while Ji Hoo is all like, leisurely in his purple kayaking outfit.

Ji Hoo to the rescue. So far I still like Jun Pyo better, but this episode is really make me love Ji Hoo as well. Aw, my Rui is making a comeback. Somehow I knew I couldn't count Kim Hyun Joong out... I'm readying myself to inevitably fall in love with Ji Hoo. As I've said many times before, I'm definitely a Rui girl.

*squishes angry Yi Jung!*

Oh Jun Pyo, I know you're all angry, but if you dismiss everyone, then it will only be F1, which isn't fun at all.


I hate/love the coming conflict between Jan Di, Jun Pyo, and Ji Hoo. Stories without conflict are boring, but it also breaks my heart.

It's late, so I'm not going to watch episode 7 tonight. Maybe tomorrow (snow day?!).

I took 101 screencaps during these two episodes (obsessed much?). About half of them are of Jun Pyo. 1/3 are of Jan Di looking pretty (I screencap mostly for iconage, therefore I end up with a lot of pretty people closeups), and 1/6 are of the other F4 members (mostly Ji Hoo, with a few Yi Jung).

I had mixed feelings on episode 6. Lee still impresses with his great acting and good looks. The chemistry him and Koo is so so, i think it could be so much better but im sure it will improve as the series continue. I like Koo in general, but i still think she does not fit this role, she is trying her best. You might have heard this from others but her expression gah, killing me. She is much better when she is serious.

Kim Bum i just started finding him cute, and yeah when he smiles. Ga eul does a different but good take as the best friend, she can carry her own as a side career, and honestly, should have played Jan Di! she would have been perfect... no offense to Koo.

Ji Hoo still not doing much for me and i cant help but compare, but in ep 7 of BBF i didnt feel much of him even with the epic scene of him and Jan Di betraying Lee. He is to wooden, i think its mainly the fault of the director.

but still enjoy the series. Im going to watch 8 tomorrow. And so funny, i gotta to reply to see if the white girl didnt like hugging lee...

Yeah, I've heard that a lot, actually, that she does better when she's more serious. This is the first drama I've seen her in, so I have nothing to compare to. I think the chemistry really ramped up in episode 7 and 8 though. Hopefully it will stay that way!

Kim Bum is so adorable! I'm liking him more and more as the show progresses. I think the girl who plays Ga Eul (Kim So Eun) is wonderful. I'm really enjoying her portrayal of the Yuki character.

Ji Hoo... well, I'm definitely liking him a lot more. I think he's finally starting to loosen up, and seems more like one of the F4 than a random outsider. I still like Jun Pyo more, and Kim Hyun Joong will never be my favorite Rui, but I'm glad he seems to be getting better.

I'm enjoying it as well. It's not a masterpiece, but it's entertaining and fun. (I knoow! If I were that random white girl, I'd be all up on him!)

Ooooh, love the write-up! Agreed, LMH is really good and has awesome chemistry with GHS (who in ep 7 mysteriously but thankfully stops overacting). I rather fell in love with Ji Hoo myself (finally).

OMG, the scene in Meteor Garden you mentioned? I melt just thinking of it.

Thanks! I'm rather in love with Lee Min Ho, so at this point, even if he spent an entire episode brooding silently (and preferable half naked and wet, as he is wont to do) I'd still rave about him. I'm glad Hye Sun stopped overacting as well. She's so much better when she's angsty. And Ji Hoo! I still love Jun Pyo more, but he's suddenyl so much more awesome.

I think that's my favorite scene in any drama version of HYD. It's just so amazing...
