Okay, several things;
1. Finished My Boss, My Hero. At this time, I honestly think Nagase may have usurped Shun-kun as my favorite j-actor (I think they're tied), which is HUGE. Shun was not only my first Japanese actor crush, but my first Asian drama-boy crush in general. But OMG Nagase. Whenever I see him I freak out a little bit. It's kinda embarrassing, the amount of girlish squee I let fly when I see him.
So I needed another picspam.

Seriously. Hot HOT guy + Rain (or really, ANY other form of wetness) = A really good day for Meredith. I nearly died in this scene. The rain! The fighting! The intense hotness of Nagase!

If I thought it couldn't get hotter, I was wrong. The drama pulled this; having Nagase RIP HIS SHIRT OFF to reveal an awesome tattoo (I tend to think tattoos are hot. Usually not huge ones like this, but it's hot because it's a yakuza tattoo, and totally badass). And then I suffered a heart attack, and died because OMG hot, shirtless, tattooed, WET Nagase?! (But was miraculous revived so I could write this entry!)

Makio in jail was pretty cool/hot. His HAIR!

I love this scene. He was angsty!hot, with the hair in his face and the crying. I think that last picture is my favorite picture EVER.

Mmmmm Makio, yakuza-style!

I love his expression! (I just love him!)

The return on angry!hot!!!!!
Would it be bad if I flew to Japan, and spent all my energy stalking him? Because, honestly, I'm THIIIS close.
2. Haagen Dazs' in Taiwan are a whole hell of a lot nicer than they are in the US.

And while the whole engagement ring in the dessert thing is kinda cliche, I still melted quite a bit during that scene in My Queen (not a spoiler, it was a flashback).

See! Even the ice cream is fancier at Taiwanese Haagen Dazs'! That one is called a "Love Poem". See the Shakespeare poem under the ice cream? Can't make out which one it is.
3. I (finally) finished watched episode 19 and 20 of BBF. I'm going to post my thoughts in a separate post, because this one is getting long.
4. I'm not sure what my next drama will be. I kinda want to watch Dal Ja's Spring, but I also want to watch something with Nagase in it... Plus, I need to finish The Rose. And Black & White starts soon, so I want something relatively quick... Meh! Decisions decisions. Plus I just got a HUGE book on Taiwanese history that I want to read...

Date: 2009-03-21 08:49 pm (UTC)I think he seems Taiwanese too! And I don't really know why.. maybe it's the height? (ha?)
If you make any extra icons, let me have one! ♥ Actually I have only like 1 Johnny's icon TOTAL right now (too lazy to actually check..). I wish I actually made decent looking icons.. All the icons I make are just pictures cropped and resized..
Let me know if Utahime is good. I mean, you'll probably like it.. But it's still somewhere in the back of my head as something to maybe watch. Not like I need ANOTHER thing to maybe watch, but..

Date: 2009-03-22 01:32 am (UTC)Sure! I haven't made any yet, but I probably will sometime. Recently I haven't felt much like iconing. I should be working on my icon for the contest (it's due tomorrow), but I feel all apathetic towards it right now. I never iconed until I got photoshop. It's kinda hard to feel adequate when you can only crop images. Even now, when I can use brushes/textures/etc I feel like mine are crap most of the time, because I can't animate them (well, I CAN, but it's a super long process... too much work).
I will! I'm only through the first episode, and I don't love it yet (it usually takes me 2 or 3 episodes). I'll like it, of course, but I'll let you know if I SUPER LOVE it, because that's when I know it's good, and rec.
God, you're telling me... I'm "watching" 25 things.
