So you know how earlier I mentioned I was watching three jdramas?

Well, the first two are my Nagase dramas I spoke about earlier; Utahime and Tiger & Dragon. Those were planned.

The last, not so planned. And I'm so utterly lost to it it's not even funny. The drama I'm talking about; Mei-chan no Shitsuji.

I've heard (read?) people talking about it quite favorably for awhile, and so last night, after I read aliaspiral's post, I was like "hey, lets download it!" (to be fair, last night I also downloaded a ton of other stuff, so I really had no intention to watch it ASAP).

But I did watch it. And I haven't stopped watching it since. I'm on episode 6 now (I only have up to 8 subbed, I might get desperate and stream the last two episodes, but I hope not to. I'm quite enjoying TimeLesSubs releases. And they're SUCH good quality.

ANYWAY... I LOOOOOVE this show soooooo much! I mean, you have;

1. Eikura Nana and her legs (That girl is So. Damn. Adorable. And God, her legs! They will never cease to amaze me. Also she's all cutely taller than everyone else, and makes them look like little kids)
2. Mizushima Hiro and his hair being super super hot (His default setting. I doubt he could be anything BUT hot. But seriously, the only way he could have been hotter is if he stripped off his clothes, and then spoke english [because, have you heard Hiro-san's english?!])
3. Tanimura Mitsuki acting batshit crazy (so funny to see her in this after Cat Street!)
4. Mukai Osamu being sneakily evil WITH WHITE HAIR (I've had a major thing for Osamu since Honey and Clover, where he rocked glasses, and was so cute and dorky, and just Mmmmm....)
And like, a bunch of other awesome things including; lots of hot guys in suits, helicopters, a tiny adorable little girl, psychos, really rich people, and lots of cold bitches who gradually melt.

Seriously, it's SUCH a good drama.

Osamu is nearly unrecognizable with his white hair. And he's so sneaky and evil, and OMG I want to jump him SO BAD. Goddamn blondes... Seriously cannot resist them.


Nana! She's such an adorable girl!


Also, Nana's legs! The girl is like, 80% leg...


Hiro and Takeru. The bishie brothers!


I love the headmistress. She has a room filled with One Piece manga (she even was talking about one volume [#23] where Luffy says goodbye, and I was like "hey, I know that character... kinda!" Thanks Lisa!)


HIRO!!! I love Hiro-san sooo much. And his hair. I love his hair.


Mmmm gay undertones. I like to think Shinobu is bi... for some reason I like to think of all evil characters as bi, that way they can easily seduce their way into anyone's pants. And thus gain valuable information... Yesss...


Is it just me, or does Hiro-san looks really orange to anyone else?


I would pay good money for a pair of VR glasses that showed Hiro-san seductively asking me if there was anything he could do for me... they should patent that. It'd sell millions.


AHHH! OTP!!!! I kinda feel bad for Kento, but I think he belongs with Mei's friend Natsumi.

Oh! Speaking of; I was totally grossed out by the natto scene in one of the episodes. I don't think I'll ever try natto, I don't think I'd ever be able to get over the clumpy stringiness.

And the lady who plays Natsumi's mother is TOTALLY the lady who played Tsukushi's mom in HYD. I was watching, and I was like... "is that Tsukushi-chan's mom?"

Also, WHEN THE HELL did Oscar from Hana Kimi (Kyo Nobuo) get so goddamn hot?!

Seriously. WHEN?!

OH YES!! I shipped Mei/Rihito SO much. And that white butler? Sex on evil evil legs. Although I will say this. I found it hilarious whenever they cut to scenes of him just smiling evilly. YOU KNOW SHIT CAN'T BE GOOD WHEN THE GUY WITH THE WHITE HAIR IS SMILING.

They're SO awesome together!! I cannot wait for the fight Rihito has (I heard it's in ep 8, I'm on episode 6 right now!), because OMG Hiro fighting in a suit?!

Evil white butler is totally teh sex. It's so funny, because he was so cute and innocent in Honey and Clover, and now he's completely evil, and it's really hot.

Hehehehe!!! And he's ALWAYS smiling evilly!

God this is a good drama!

And I really liked the last ep. I won't spoil you if you don't want me to, but GUUUUH. Not a lot of dramas make me go GUUUH with their finales.

And I hated Lucia-sama like you wouldn't believe! Maybe it's just the actress, because everything in everything I've seen her in she's always tried to get in between my OTP.

Okay, okay.... I always spoil stuff, and hate myself for it later. But PLEASE tell me that Rihito and Mei get together?!

I hate her, yes, but less than I've hated other people. Maybe it's because she's SO INSANE, so it's entertaining me to no end... But she's kinda freaking me out in this, I think it's the hair color... I haven't seen the actress is anything else though.

I think it's pretty obvious that they're together by the end. They never come out and state it, but there's a specific scene in ep 10 that pretty much confirms it.

I saw her in the Nodame Cantabile SP--and that show is really a squee-filled conversation for another day--and I just hated her from then on. She wasn't really an OTP interloper, but the way she played it I just kept waiting for her to do something evil.

I always like to make sure, because you never know! Like, I was certain things would end all happily in Summer Snow, and then they totally screwed me over. Oh I'm SO EXCITED for it now!

Nodame Cantabile's on my list too! Rather high too, considering the praise everyone heaps upon it! When I watch it, I will undoubtedly flail about and post my fangirling. But yes, she kinda has an evil face, like she's plotting stuff...

Oh I get that completely. I research every drama like I'm about to do a report on it before I even get to the first ep. I've had experiences where I've been halfway through a movie or drama and think that everything is freaking dandy and then we get to the end and AGONY.

Oh I cannot recommend NodaCan enough. It probably one of my top 3 dramas. And if you wanna get a little shallow, Tamaki Hiroshi is smokin' hot.

I think that's only happened to me three times; Meteor Garden 2 (evil hateful thing), Summer Snow, and Love Contract (oh LC, why, WHY?!). Stupid dramas and their sudden changes!

Hehe, one of my top reasons for watching dramas is the hot boy eye candy. Good to know there's some nice ones in it! (Wiki says that Osamu (evil white butler) is in it too, which makes me super happy!)

I'm glad too! I loved it a TON. It was so cute, and light, and perfect jdrama fare!

I was watching it, and thinking "wow, he looks so familiar", and then it hit me, he was freaking Oscar! Like... how? I didn't find him the least bit attractive in Hana Kimi, but suddenly he's SO HOT. It must be magic facial hair.

I know, right?! It was insane, the addition of facial hair somehow made him hot... He's been in a few other things I've seen since, and I swear, as soon ad you take the facial hair out of the picture, he's back to silly-looking Oscar again. It's weird...
