I have almost 200 screencaps from the first 4 episodes of Nodame Cantabile, and needed to do something with them!

I used to play in my middle school and high school orchestras (I played contrabass/double bass... you know, that huge string instrument). This drama is bringing back a LOT of memories for me. I miss playing... I wasn't terribly good (it's kinda hard to carry around a bass to practice), but I enjoyed it a lot.

I liked that everyone was all fucked up, and even though the domestic violence was SUPER DAMN FAKE, I like it when dramas have "real" issues in them (though I don't usually watch the serious dramas, cause they're boooooring).

umm I don't know if Eita's in it or not..I kind of don't think so. Touma's on a jury, and the defendant is obviously guilty, but the jurors are like, "she is INNOCENT" (cause they're being bribed or something) and I don't know, it's all serious and kind of reminds me of Maou (also the title has "witch" in it, so that doesn't help)
I wanted to watch "Aishiteru" because dude, a little boy killing another little boy?! sign me up! (uhh not really) but then I saw that the killer was in 5th grade, and the boy who was killed was in 2nd grade, and that made it unappealing to me. Like, I guess I expected it to be: two kids the same age, and one kind of accidentally killed the other kid (maybe on purpose, but didn't really understand what he was doing). but a 5th grader totally fucking knows that killing is wrong, AND even if he didn't mean to kill him, a 5th grader bullying a 2nd grader would just PISS ME OFF. (woah long rant on a drama I've never seen)

I don't think I really had the lung capacity either! Well normally I was ok, but when I took up oboe (double reed, which requires more forceful breath) I found it out. I was in a special one on one lesson. The teacher was always like "Breath through your nose! You need to breath through your nose!" and halfway through playing once I just got SUPER dizzy and all the music was going in circles in front of me lol. The instructor was like, you need to go back to class now. So I did XD. Eventually I decided to focus on vocal, so I quit concert band. But omg I loved that oboe instructor! He was French and super cool! And when he had to leave he gave me this little gold Eiffel Tower key chain, haha.
