We're at our apartment now! We're both exhausted, and we need to clean up a bit before pictures are taken, but things are a-okay here!
But right now, I need to watch Buzzer Beat (ETA: OMG so much love for that show!!!), and read the newspaper (I buy the China Post, which is in english).
Being here screws with my mind. Like, I can't keep days straight. And I know that the time difference between here and home is 12 hours, but sometimes I get confused which way it goes. *sigh* I was thinking it was already Sunday in the states. It's not. On the other hand, it's almost Sunday here (in 18 minutes)!
These ten (10) questions originally came from a French series, "Bouillon de Culture" hosted by Bernard Pivot. They're better known as the questions that James Lipton asks every guest at the end of "Inside the Actor's Studio."
1. What is your favorite word? Surreptitiously. I use it as much as humanly possible.
2. What is your least favorite word? Mole (*shudder*)
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Reading a really good story.
4. What turns you off? Lots of things. Slurping noises, the feel of squeaky clean glass, ragged edges on fingernails, etc.
5. What is your favorite curse word? Shit or Bastard.
6. What sound or noise do you love? White noise is my favorite sound in the world. It helps me think, I can't sleep well without it, and it's wonderful at blocking out other annoying sounds. Close second is cats purring.
7. What sound or noise do you hate (dislike)? Most noises, actually (I have very sensitive hearing, so most sounds become grating to me).
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? My dream is to be an actor. But I'd love to be a beekeeper, or a pastry chef.
9. What profession would you not like to do? Anything in the meat industry.
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? "You've lived a good life, and I'm proud of you. Your family, friends, and pets are waiting to see you again."
