I'm much better, but I still sleep approximately 300 hours a day.

I also don't understand why I can't seem to finish any dramas recently! The thought of them (or movies, for that matter) makes me impatient. And yet I watched like, two seasons of 30 Rock in the past two days.

In general I'm feeling really restless. I get this way whenever I get my college newsletter, and read about my former classmates lives. In general I think I'm doing better than a lot of them (but that's my bias... a lot of them are married housewives, which is not my idea of success), but some of them are doing awesome things, and it makes me sad because I want to be doing awesome things too. Add into that some irritating and depressing career searches, and it's just not good. All signs point to me going to grad school (they also point to me biting the bullet, and getting an MD, but I WILL NOT DO THAT).

OMG I just found that Georgetown offers this program: " Biohazardous Threat Agents & Emerging Infectious Diseases".... totally my ideal graduate program! *cries at how expensive the program is....*

I hate not knowing what to do with my life.

It makes me want to cry, so I tend to ignore my feelings of confusion, and sleep. Which is not helping, but hey, at least I get to sleep!

We need to figure out our lives at some point...

Same here! Well, with less sleep, and more computer-usage. But it's the same idea.

I know... But I don't wanna.....

I don't want to either, but we're getting OLD. I'm already 26, man. Twenty six. Time is wasting away, and I want to cry. I figure I'll just do grad school. You know there's a school in Sweden where you can go to for free? Isn't that weird? I've been thinking about Singapore too. School is cheap there, and they speak English.

I knoooow. I feel the pressure, but I still have NO idea.
What, really? Do you have to qualify for it (the Swedish school)? I mean, they can't let EVERY applicant in..
Dude, if you go to Singapore, you'll come back speaking Singlish and I'll laaaaugh and laugh. OKAY LAH

OMG I KNOW! I want to die. There's so many different ways I want my life to go. Right now I've been thinking along the lines of how to combine international affairs with biology. That way I get the best of both worlds. But I half want to give it all up, and like, travel and teach, and never live anywhere for a long time, and be a hobo. But I also want to have a place to stay, you know? Life is fucking hard.

I THINK THEY DO LET EVERYONE IN! And they have grad programs in all sorts of stuff.

Hehehehehe! Remember Maggie from my tea class? She got her masters in Singapore. But I DID meet some people from Singapore, and their english was really good. Not singlish-ey at all! But OMG if I do go, and pick up singlish.... I'd laugh too.

I KNOW. I've considered: teaching English in various countries, roaming around the world doing random shit, getting married to some rich douche so I don't have to work, and, like, staying here and working at BEI again oh god no

I wanna go!! (Do they teach in English?)

You should pick up Singlish just for the fun of it! It'd be so hilarious for a random white girl to speak Singlish.

Same here I've even talked to my old boss about getting a temp job *CRIES BITTERLY WITH DESPAIR*!

THEY DO! But they only have programs in certain things (mostly science, oddly enough...), see here.

Totally. I'll be all "ok-la"-ing all over the place! Actually I already kinda say that, because of Chinese... they say OK拉 a lot.

Aww, I'm so sorry for you!!

Hmm, I don't know if they have anything for me. Unless I wanted to do history. Ugh.

Well then you'll have to pick up some other things, to distinguish yourself as a proud speaker of Singlish!

Thanks! I'd only be working for like, three months, but that makes me want to kill myself

Apparently there's free schools in Scotland, and Brazil too. And CHEAP schools in Germany, France, and Canada (like under $1000 a semester or year). WE NEED TO GO THERE.

Just saying "la" at the end of every sentence should make it singlish-ey enough!

Hey - cheer up! I find that things have a way of working out for themselves in the end. Umm, and ALL schools in Sweden are free (I'm Swedish, so I know) - you're let in based on your college grades, and sometimes by tests or even interviews (that's rare though!). Oh, just wanted to say that I'm completely ga ga over Big Bang and Young Bae - I discover more great songs every day (Stay, Where U At, Hallelujah) - but now I have to buy the CDs, but I don't know/can't choose which ones... Anyway, take care.

Oh man, WORD. It makes you so freaking panicky. Don't you just wish we could go back to those days in Kindergarten where them most we had to worry about accomplishing was drawing inside the lines?

HEAR! HEAR!

But you know what? There's something worse than that: "Knowing what to do in life but not doing anything about it."
