LJ, I should be using you...

I just renewed my extra icon subscription, and while doing it, I was like "... basically I'm wasting money here". I've fallen off the LJ truck. I blame twitter. The ease of use of it, combined with my rather rapid thought patterns, makes twitter an ideal tool for me.

But at the same time, I miss LJ. I miss writing entries, I miss the people I got to know here. So I'm TRYING. I am. I am trying to come back.

New things are happening in my life (nothing exciting, just new), so maybe I'll be able to live like a normal human. I was desperately worn out before I left for Asia. But spending time there (in Taiwan, particularly), seemed to restore me. I FEEL better. Taiwan is magic. I love it.

So, new things;

♥ I start my new (old) job on Monday. Good - I'm used to it, I know and like the people, and I'm good at what I do. Bad - My best work friend switched shifts, so I won't be seeing her much anymore! :(

♥ To some, this may seem gauche, but since I don't think so, and it IS my journal, I will say it. I am going to be making a LOT more money. Seriously. I'm not going to be super!rich or anything, but compared to what I was making before it's nice.

♥ HOWEVER I do not plan on staying at this job for very long. I'm going to be taking the GREs, and applying to grad schools in the very near future.

♥ The last few days I've been rewatching a lot of old jdramas. Namely Hana Yori Dango, Gokusen, and My Boss My Hero. I have also been taking HIGHLY meaningful caps, like these.



♥ I discovered I have this very bizarre love for MatsuJun. I make fun of him like woah, but I have about a billion pictures and videos of him, so IDK. I figure it's like my love for Baby...

♥ Big Bang's newest album is coming out very soon. I am excited. Very excited. I won't even BEGIN to talk about how excited I am.

♥ I want to watch dramas again. And I want to write about them. We'll see how it goes.

♥ I also want to comment and reply more. THIS is a constant battle for me, in that I usually forget...

♥ I WILL RETURN, BETTER THAN EVER.


TWITTER - So, for those who don't know, my twitter is here. It's private (CLEANING UP MY ONLINE IDENTITY), but I won't reject a follow request. As long as I think you're not a spammer... My twitter feed is weird. Half the time I don't make sense, the other half I'm swearing like a sailor. Sooo...

FORMSPRING - I also recently opened a Formspring. YOU CAN ASK ME QUESTIONS HERE. Please ask me something. Anyone? I'll be sad if no one does :(

LAST.FM - My last.fm page is here. Friend me if you so desire. To be honest, I have no idea how the whole thing works. Other than I listen to Big Bang an AWFUL lot.

So, Monday is the beginning of work, and from then on, well, we'll see what happens. BUT I WILL BE MORE AWESOME, KAY?

I'd enjoy reading your drama posts again (no pressure here) - I am notoriously bad writing about series I watch but I will happily flail and squee in other people's posts. I'm currently watching Tokyo DOGS, by the way. It's getting better but still kinda average :/

ISN'T IT THE BEST CAP EVER?! Oh, MatsuJun, so stupid and yet weirdly appealing...

Yay! I'll try to write some. The problem, of course being, finding a drama I care enough to not stop halfway through. I'll try though. I miss dramas, I miss writing about them.

Ohhh Tokyo DOGS... I never watched that, probably because it seemed slightly boring to me. As much as I love Shun and Hiro, police shows tend to bore me.

TD is pretty much light entertainment and I always watch and episode in bed before going to sleep so I should be finished in a week or so, I have got Personal Taste (LEE MIN HO TAKE ME NOW I WANT YOUR SEXY DORKY SMILING BABIES.. _ahem) and SPEC lined up for afterwards, sticking with alternating between 1 series from Japan, 1 series from Korea. :)

Police usual doesn't appeal to me either but BOSS was amazing and I have high hopes for Spec (darkeyedwolf called it the offspring of Fringe and MR BRAIN, how can I resist.. ?) so yeah - but I usually want romance. Sure, action and gender-bending and high school and music, all that are nice sub-genres but I WANT ROMANCE. I WANT FEELINGSSSS

I honestly never saw what the big deal was with discussing money. Like, I only learned it was not considered good form when I was in high school, and made an offhand remark on how expensive my prom dress was.

But yay more money! In college, it was a joke with my friends and I that my goals for the future were based around how much money I would make. I don't think of it as greed, rather pragmatism :D

I know what you mean about this whole LJ thing. I haven't written here in almost a year since I got tumblr and twitter which is so easy to use. :| But I really miss all my LJ friends and I'm not ready to leave just yet D:
