Most people wouldn't notice these things, but I am not most people. (Meaning I am a super observant freak, who notices totally asinine stuff routinely, while often missing the big picture...)

Why on earth does she have a Benefit mirror? Mo Mo isn't the type to have the name brand makeup. I'll compromise and say her sister gave it to her...

(I notice continuity errors like woah in asian dramas. They don't bother me, but I'm weirdly attuned to them. Not that THIS is a continutity error, it's more like a "wtf?!" thing. And I noticed it because of my makeup thing. I want a benefit mirror...)

And oh! Look! I have no idea what the one on the far left is, but the middle poster is for Cape No. 7 (I LOVE how I recognized it immediately), and the one on the right is for the HYD Final movie! There's another one too, but I didn't know that one either.

Da Dong, Rainie, and George on Xiao Zhu's show 100% Entertainment (ie. my favoritest show EVAR!). No subs, but still cute. (Includes some random clips from The Duchess, and Da Dong being awesome at drawing on paper lanterns)

One of the best things about Green Forest; about a quarter of the time they speak in english. Like, ALL of them (mostly Leon Jay Williams, but Ethan and Esther have both kicked it english style as well).

I'm working on something... I'll post it in an hour or so. Depends on when I finish...

I watched part 1 of second episode of Superstar Express (mysoju is only showing about half of the episode... I'm youtubing the rest currently... but as far as I can tell it hasn't been subbed. So yeah. Mandarin. Thankfully I know enough Mandarin so I'm not totally confused all the time). Still love it. It's super super cute. Honestly, I forget just how awesome twdramas are... It's nice to get back to them. Twdramas = my ultimate love!

I capped a little bit. Granted, these are screencaps from a streaming site, which means, in general, they suck. But they're better than nothing, ne?

UPDATE: I watched this part in Mandarin. (Thanks to vierran45, I now know I was watching the DVD version, which is uncut, and why I was missing parts. The tv version is on viikii as well, but I already watched it in Mandarin, and I'm suddenly really tired. So whatever, I'll watch it later.) I did a little capping, and didn't understand much of what was going on, so excuse my ignorance about this part of the episode.

So yes, super cute. I am highly enjoying it. But really, wtf is with Rainie's hair? I can't tell if it's a wig, or if they just kinda tucked her hair under, and made it appear short with added extensions. Twdramas are BIG hair offenders when it comes to unnecessary extensions. I see them ALL THE TIME.

Good impressions so far. Also, REALLY loving the Chinese subs. I forget just how much I miss them until I see them again. Chinese subtitles makes my Mandarin learning oh so much easier. Also forget just how much I miss Taiwanese things/stuff in Mandarin. I quite enjoy kdramas and jdramas, but Taiwan will always be my favorite. Taiwan IS my soulmate.

Majorly tired.

I should just stay away from the asianfanatics news section. I always end up spending LOADS of time on there... some current news stories that interested me (Taiwanese and Korean);

( Stories about Vanness Wu, Big Bang, Wu Zun, Jiro Wang, Lee Min Ho, hot boy lists, Chinese F4, Kim Bum, Superstar Express, Rainie, and Zai Zai )

Also, the cast of BBF must be cursed when it comes to car accidents. Bummie's gotten in two already, Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Joon each had one on the same day, Lee Min Ho was previously injured (badly) from a car accident, and just today Koo Sun Hye had a car accident! Thankfully in most cases, the injuries were non existent or minor (save for Min Ho's). But it makes me wonder, are car accidents in Korea THAT prevalent? I know Taiwan is notorious for car accidents (that's why a lot of times deaths in dramas are due to car accidents), but I didn't know Korea was as well. And really, shouldn't they be hiring better drivers to escort these major stars?

Summary of ratings for Taiwan's Idol Dramas: Performance of 'ToGetHer' is mediocre

First off, they changed the name of Superstar Express to "ToGetHer"?! No wonder the ratings suck... I hate it when there are those last minute changes to drama names (in english)... while the original titles aren't always great, the alternative titles are always 50% worse. Like, when they changed "Invincible Shan Bao Mei" to "Woody Sambo" (which is totally 'wtf territory' to me). Why can't they just do direct translations of the Chinese name?

When Black & White comes on, I AM going to be live-watching. It stars Zai Zai (love of my life), and Chuan Yi (not the love of my life, but close). Btw, the wiki.d-addicts site for this show has the BEST engrishy sentence ever used to summarize a drama ever; "When a case brought these two top crime solvers together, sparks flied and a little light peeked into this dark city where the nation's President is on friendly terms with the local mafia and twins kill people while drinking milkshake."

I've seen videos of Zai Zai practicing shooting guns, and holy shit is it hot. I also have recently discovered I like his shorter hair a lot better than I like his longer hair. It took me months to get used to it though. Oh Zai Zai, I still love your Mars era Farrah 'do as well.
