I had to put this one in, because OMG people, THIS was the most exciting part of the whole concert! When all of Big Bang came on stage, everyone flipped out. Everyone screamed, and then started jumping. In the section next to mine they were having issues with the barriers, and I swear, when everyone started jumping everywhere they must have been worried the thing was going to collapse.

Everyone was pretty insane during the whole concert, but it increased quite a bit when they all came out. And of course I'm guilty too. When they came on I gave the loudest, high pitched, girlish scream possible, flailed, and then started jumping like a madman, and waving my lightstick like crazy. I'm surprised I didn't bash someone's head in with it in my fangirl hysteria.

Also, at 4:40 in the video you can totally see where I was! I can't see myself in detail, but I'm there! So I edited this cap, so you can see just how close I was to the stage. I was up against the edge of the barrier, close to the walkway, and directly opposite the outcropping on the right of the stage. And because I'm taller than most Koreans, I could see really well. REALLY well. Seriously, it was amazing. I wish I had brought my phone/camera there, because the security was a TON less strict than the Big Show security, and I know I could have taken some video or pictures.

It's funny to think that technically I've been on TV in Japan. Granted I was part of a huge ass mob of people, but still! I wish I could get ahold of the full concert video... *sigh*

Amusing story of the day:

Today I was going to go to Chinatown for Chinese New Year (which reminds me! I keep trying to think/say "Happy New Year" in Mandarin, which is relatively simple: 新年快樂, but for some reason all I can think to say is "Fröhliche Weihnachten", which not only is GERMAN, but it means "Merry Christmas"...), but the parade isn't until next weekend, so we didn't go.

Instead my family and I went to the Korean market for dinner. My mother REALLY likes bibimbap, and my dad wanted to try it. I, of course, wasn't hungry (ever since I got sick I'm rarely hungry), so I just walked around and bought some more 2% water (OMG LOVE THAT STUFF SO DAMN MUCH). Since I was with my sister and niece, we went to the gift shop. Last time I was there I thought they had the light blue first edition of Big Bang's mini album "Always" (which is rare, and awesome), but it turns out it was one I already had.

Anyway, while I was looking, the girl was like "this is G-Dragon's album", and I was like "yeah, I already have it". Naturally she was all surprised, and asked me how I knew him (she was adorable, all baffled by how I could possibly know who he was. Cuuuuuute ~^^). I then told her I saw him in concert, and for some reason she thought I meant in the USA, and I was all like "nope, in Korea". She was impressed, I was amused.

Another funny thing: I recently introduced my sister and niece to Big Bang. They both really like Young Bae, and for some reason call him "nice boy". Anyway, the gift shop had mousepads with bands on them, and my niece kept pointing at them, and asking if they were Big Bang. It kinda went like this:

Niece: Is that Big Bang?
Me: No, that's 2PM
Niece: Is THAT Big Bang?
Me: Nope, that's DBSK
Sister: Just because they're boys doesn't mean they're Big Bang!
Me: *snorts and laughs* Not all Asian guys look alike...

Either way, it was fun. I like getting my family slowly into my fascination with Asia. My parents treat my Big Bang obsession like it was normal, which is infinitely awesome. They also took my random devotion to Taiwan and Chinese culture (and subsequent total life turn around) in stride, which is also infinitely awesome. I have really great parents.
