I'm in a drama dry spell. It may not seem like it, since I am actively watching four shows right now (BBF, Superstar Express, Love or Bread, and My Queen), but believe me, it's a dry spell.
Back when I first started watching dramas I would finish a series in a week (which is quite good, considering I work full time and have a really long commute). Now I'm lucky if I watch an episode a day. I'm okay once I start a drama, it's just getting to that step that's hard.
Lately I've been wanting to spend more time finishing dramas I've already started. I'm halfway through Goong, Corner with Love, Bull Fighting, They Kiss Again, Koizora, and The Rose. I'm almost finished Densha Otoko. I've started Golden Bowl, Innocent Love, Tokyo Juliet, MG2, Goku Dou High School, Hot shot, Love Storm, Green Forest, Wayward Kenting, and Love at First Fight.
I've recently been really wanting to finish The Rose. I LOOOVED that drama. I stopped watching it because of a weird circumstance; I lost power in my house for a week, and while I did have my work computer, it doesn't run realplayer files, so I was stuck. And then I started watching Gokusen, and geeked out on that for a long time.
I enjoyed Corner with Love, but it kinda got boring. Bull Fighting angered me quite a bit (plus, the subs weren't out at that time, and I just never got around to finishing). I had the same sort of sub issue with They Kiss Again. Koizora got a bit too crazy for me. Goong... well... I don't know. I like it a lot, but not so much that I want to marathon it.
Densha Otoko got to that point in the story where there's a shitload of conflict, and I didn't feel like dealing with it at the time. I only have two episodes left.
I love twdramas the most. They're like, my IDEAL tv experience. But they're long. And they drag. Out of all of the regional categories, I start twdramas the most. Jdramas, on the other hand, are so short and easy. While I don't start as many, I usually end up finishing them once I start. What I do with kdramas is kinda a more extreme version of what I do with jdramas; I almost never start watching them, but when I DO start watching them, I almost always freak out about them and finish them super quickly.
So yes, basically the main point is; I will finish watching The Rose sometime this week. (I meant to start yesterday, but then I did the top twenty tw-guy thing, and stayed up until 4am. Yay 3 hours of sleep...)
Two additional things; I am way more tired than I have any right to be (I HATE working on weekends, weekends are when I catch up on my sleep. I average 3 1/2 to 4 hours a sleep a night on weekdays), and my workplace is ALWAYS so damn cold. I'm seriously getting a breeze here. It's SNOWING OUTSIDE. I DON"T NEED A BREEZE.
I have 6 Ikuta Toma icons, 5 Oguri Shun icons, 6 Jiro icons, 6 GD icons, and 8 Zai Zai icons.... Plus, at least one icon for each member of F4. Interesting.
