uisceros: (Night)
I used to post on this thing 3-4 times a day. What happened? Oh yeah, life...

Several things!

1. I've started watching Doctor Who. And hell if I didn't become ridiculously obsessed. I'm about halfway through series 1 (2005), and I've skipped around in series 2 and 4 as well. The whole Doctor/Rose thing is lovely and heartbreaking. It literally made me cry at one point. Me. Cry. That's nearly unheard of. I love British TV. It really never lets me down. I guess over the years I've come more accustomed to British humor, because I seriously find this show SO AMAZINGLY FUNNY. This was not the case 10 years ago, when I had issues trying to figure out why Brassed Off was considered comedic... I think watching the British version of Whose Line every single day for many many months somehow changed my brain.

2. As per [livejournal.com profile] darkeyedwolf's recommendation, I started watching Rebound, which is adorable. Plus, MOCO IS IN IT, AND I LOVE MOCO. Who doesn't love Moco? Freaks. That's who. I've had issues with Aibu Saki in the past (I really, REALLY hated her character in Utahime, and due to transference, I've been lukewarm about her ever since). This is the role that actually made me like her. I cannot help but like her here. (This happened once before with Seto Koji, who I HATED in Koizora, but won me over in Atadan) The plot is a bit weird. Body issues, fat people, etc etc etc. I enjoy that they actually made Saki and Moco appear fat - usually they put a normal sized girl on screen, and are like "OMG FAT!!!!11". And I like that there is a show that addresses this. I DO NOT LIKE that she apparently lost 70lbs in 2 weeks. Not possible. BELIEVE ME. As formerly kinda-anorexic (long story), I know this cannot happen. 30lbs in 2 weeks eating nothing but 5 baby carrots a day? SURE. But not 70. Either way, I'm only a few episodes in. I got distracted (as per usual), but I do hope to return to it as soon as the Doctor Who mania burns off.

3. I'm not going to talk much about Dae here, mostly because it breaks my heart. I will say that I don't think he should be found responsible. My dad actually had a similar situation happen to him. He was driving on the highway at night when all of a sudden the car in front of him swerved into the other lane. Because YOU CANNOT PHYSICALLY SEE WHAT IS ON THE ROAD IN FRONT OF THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU, he didn't see that there was something in the road, and hit it. This happens. Dae didn't see the motorcyclist, and it was no fault of his. I don't know Korean law, and I'm SURE it's different, but here in the USA, you would not be found responsible for something like that. Especially if you didn't hit the person in the first place. I think people are paying WAY too much attention to Dae, and not focusing on the real issue - the driver who hit the motorcyclist to begin with, and then drove away. I have sympathy for the deceased's family, of course. But I also have sympathy for Dae, who is also a victim, IMO. He's being blamed for something that he could literally not avoid. Wrong place, wrong time. I have a feeling a lot of these people who keep saying it's Dae's fault (or at least partially his fault) don't actually drive on a regular basis...

4. Things are boring / okay at work and stuff. I'm not going to stay long there - no fault of theirs, but I need to change. I can't live my life doing this.

5. Went to the doctor, got meds. I hope to soon be happier. Now, if I could only remember to take them...

6. The weather's been really fucked up here. Everyone knows of the devastating tornado's all over the country? Well, last night three hit in Massachusetts. Seriously. Tornadoes. Here. We don't get many of those. But these were bad. They hit six towns, killed four people, injured at least 200, and practically destroyed a whole town center. Luckily I live rather far from where they struck, but I did get a scare when randomly the sky turned green last night. Weirdly enough, we didn't even get much rain. The storm seemed to pass just below where we are.

I think that's it for now - I have to go to the gym (*gag*), so off~
uisceros: (Nathan)
I guess it's easier to divide things up...

1. Maou
I watched the first episode of Maou last night, and while I did enjoy it, I also found is ridiculously hilarious in quite a few spots. The biggest thing? It's way over-dramatic. Especially Toma's character. Everything he does is SO dramatic, SO passionate. I mean, he runs everywhere. As [livejournal.com profile] sn0tcat said, he's just too full of passion and emotion to simply walk. Ohno's character, on the other hand, I LOOOOVED. I LOL-ed a lot at him (come on, Ohno being creepy is kinda funny), but he was damn good. I like evil, conniving, dastardly characters. They make me happy.

Come On, you can't tell me you don't find evil!Ohno hilarious...
A BUNCH more caps from episode 1 )

2. Misfits
SERIES TWO IS FINALLY HERE YOU GUYS! I've been waiting a freaking year for this show to come back. For reals! It's currently my favorite show (not that LOST is off the air), and I'm so excited for the next episode. I read some spoilers earlier, and watched the pre-air, so I knew what was going to happen, but damn if it wasn't worth watching in HD. This season I'm loving Simon a whole lot more, despite him being a total creeper. And I'm still on the Nathan/Kelly ship. I kinda like how they didn't make them get together right away. These things need to be drawn out. That being said, I wish there had been more time before they dug Nathan up, just to see how everyone (mostly Kelly) was handling it. I seriously could watch this show only for Nathan though. He's such an asshole, and we all know how I feel about the asshole characters...

This makes me wonder about British graves... Are they really that easy to dig up?!
A few more caps from episode 1, including one that may haunt your nightmares... just warning you )

3. Koukou Debut Movie
I randomly heard about this the other day, while looking for news on the ParaKiss movie. The news came out awhile ago, but I'm kinda slow on the uptake recently. Apparently Mizobata Junpei (who played Shuji-kun in Buzzer Beat) will be acting as Yoh, and Ohno Ito (a new actress, as far as I can tell) will be Haruna. This will either be awesome, or epically bad (see : Love Com). I hope for awesome. Because Koukou Debut is a really good manga, and I'd love to see it done well. While I loved Junpei in Buzzer Beat, I wouldn't have picked him to play Yoh... then again, who knows, he may knock it out of the park.

4. Fated to Love You sequel
Nothing is confirmed about this story, so take it with a grain of salt. HOWEVER, SETTV is looking to make a sequel to Fated to Love You, called 醉後決定愛上你 (Drunken to Love You... odd translation). I AM SO AGAINST THIS IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. Now, I love SETTV, I love their shows, I love their actors, I just love them. And yes, FtLY is the highest rated drama in Taiwanese history, so I suppose it makes sense to have a sequel. But a sequel without Qiao En or Ethan?! And didn't they already make a tie in with Invincible Shan Bao Mei?! The actors they're looking at are Rainie Yang and Jerry Yan. I just... don't know. I think seeing them together would make me think too much about Meteor Garden, and question why Ken isn't there. But yeah... not really looking forward to this. I loved FtLY, and I don't think there needs to be another one.
uisceros: (Dear God I love you Toma-kun!)
1. Don't be alarmed if you randomly get replies to comments you posted a long time ago. I'm trying to go through them and reply, because I hate being such a sucky friend.

2. I'm freaking the fuck out over my imminent schooling. Several of the programs I want to apply to have deadlines in January. And since, for some reason, I assumed the deadlines wouldn't be until April/May, I'm screwed. SCREWED.

I made a list of programs that look interesting. Luckily my first choice isn't due until June. But my second choice (University of Hawaii Tropical Medicine) is January 15th. *cries*

3. I started watching Gloomy Salad Days awhile back, but I don't think I'll continue watching it. It's just... weird. But it made me realize just how long it's been since I've watched a twdrama. Which is bad, because now I'm noticing all the shitty production again. Clearly I need to watch a big budget twdrama, just so I can ease my way into them again.

I'm in an American tv mood right now, but I think I'm going to watch Mawang and Maou. Probably Maou first, since it's shorter. And possibly Yamikin Ushijima-kun because my dearest Taki stars in it. Though he looks HORRIBLE in it (why the facial hair? WHY?!). Almost makes me miss when he looked like a dirty hobo.

Also, surely everyone has seen the preview for the ParaKiss movie by now, right?
I'm dying, DYING to see it. Osamu as George (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Words can not possibly express just how awesome and perfect this is), Keiko as Yukari (I love her so much... not loving the rumors she's dating Osamu. She need to stick to Pi, kay?)... Amazing dream casting. I'm a little less sure of Yusuke as Hiro (not that I don't love him, but it just doesn't seem right to me... I picture someone kinda like Shun... or Kim Bum, randomly), but I guess it'll work out.

Still waiting for a Big Bang comeback. Getting tired of said waiting.
uisceros: (GD Hwaiting!!)
I really wish I had know this manga/anime existed. I only know of it now because it's a drama that confuses me so much.

Tadayasu Sawaki is a agriculture student who can see, understand, and talk to microbes. THIS BLOWS MY MIND. It's even more weird because the microbes appear as SD characters (which isn't really true, since technically they appear a GIGANTIC characters)...

I just don't know what to make of it. The inaccuracies are burning my eyes (there are so many more microbes in the environment! MICROBES DON'T LOOK LIKE THAT! - it's like watching those mouthwash commercials where they have "microbes" that are made up, There are more than five different types too...), but at the same time it's kinda cool. Microbiology as a theme in a drama? HELL YEAH! There aren't enough science based dramas (not counting medical shows), even if they are sort of pseudoscience. Microbiology is fun! It's about time people got on board that awesome train.

Main-guy has a Kame-face... See the microbes!?

uisceros: (Osamu)
I watched the first episode of HnH 2 raw, and while I have only gleaned the very basics from my viewing, I can say that I ship Hotaru so so so so much with Osamu's character.

Now, that was probably a given for me. I love Osamu. He's one of my three favorite Japanese actors (Shun and Taki make up the rest of the triad). And Ayase Haruka is my favorite Japanese actress. Naturally, I'm all over that shit. But that aside, I never really shipped Hotaru and Takano. To be honest, I liked Hotaru and Makoto in the first season. I always knew Hotaru and Takano were OTP, but I never understood why.

But seriously, COME ON. In the first episode we have Seno (Osamu's character) piggybacking Hotaru when she's drunk (OTP!!!!), and then they wind up in bed together (I'm not sure why or how, but it happens). I mean, REALLY?! Plus, they're all laughey, and do weird dances, and seriously, OTP. O. T. P. I'm not often wrong with my OTP-sense (kinda like spidey-sense, but a lot less useful), but sadly, I know I'm wrong here.

HOW IS THIS NOT OTP?!

A few more caps, featuring Takano as Carmen Miranda )

I keep forgetting that the reason I call Fujiki Naohito "Takano" is because of Hotaru no Hikari (yes, I call him "Takano" all the time)... So, in this instance, it makes sense. But no other time, really.

Random -> Osamu is wearing shorts in the episode, and somehow that freaks me out.
uisceros: (Yamapi)
The other day, when trolling for some atypical drama fare, [livejournal.com profile] princess_dexter recommended Deep Love to me. As soon as I real the summary, I had to watch it. I mean, it's a love story between a teenage prostitute, and a kid with a heart problem. It practically screams "hey, I'm fucked up! Come and watch me..." And as we all know, I tend to like the really insane dramas.

Anyway, one episode in, I can say it's plenty interesting. Though I have to say, Ayu is not a very good prostitute, especially for what she's charging. I KNOW that her lack of emotion is supposed to be because she's all empty inside, but still. Either Japanese men are ridiculously easy to please, or they're just willing to sacrifice so they can bang a schoolgirl.

Poor Ayu is empty inside... she kinda looks like a mannequin here.

Uh, has anyone watched Koishite Akuma? I meant to watch it ages ago, but it was airing at the same time as Buzzer Beat, and obviously Yamapi won that round. [livejournal.com profile] calledinvain had mentioned how ridiculous it was, but OMG I was not prepared for the utter level of badness. IT'S SO BAD, GUYS! I mean, baaaaaad.

That being said, I'm totally going to watch more of it.

Some highlights
- Ruka/Luka/Vampire boy is soooooooo emo. I mean, he wears a black hoodie (to school! *GASP OF INDIGNATION*), steps on pretty flowers, scares dogs, hangs around in the pouring rain (sadly he is no Nagase), makes people on bikes fall over, and sits/stands close to the edges of things (like he's TEMPTING FATE).
- Ruka/Luka/Vampire boy is supposed to be Romanian. Despite being Japanese. And speaking Japanese.
- Elder!Vampire is possibly the most ridiculous character I've ever seen. He CACKLES EVILLY, has naked girls lounging in his bed, resides in this baroque apartment, and is kinda gay with the other vampires. Actually, now that I think about it, he's pretty pimpin.
- Main character girl, (Makoto... is it sad that I can only remember her name because it's Sailor Jupiter's name?) is super pretty, but also annoying. I like her, but do teachers really go that far for their students in Japan?
- Vampire boy keeps making these horrible faces...
- OSCAR FROM HANA KIMI IS THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL (or something)!! I flailed over that, because come on, it's Oscar! I wish he had facial hair though (As we know from Mei-chan, Oscar + facial hair = HOT)
- At one point in the show, I yelled aloud "YEAH! You slap him, girl! He's insolent!"...
- I AM IN LOVE WITH THE FACT THAT VAMPIRE BOY GETTING HIS FANGS = ERECTION. Like, he keeps trying to get his fangs by smelling girls, and he gets all frustrated that he can't get it up get his fangs. And when he DOES get his fangs (which happens after his teacher and him fall into the water, and she stands up, and OMG YOU CAN SEE HER BRA), he's all like "holy shit! *hides behind an umbrella*". Just take that in for a second. Did I mention he carries around a cheery red girly umbrella?

I also think I might be going to hell, because Nakayama Yuma, who plays the vampire boy, is pretty hot. HE'S ALSO SIXTEEN. He was only fifteen when they filmed this. I am 10 years older than him. I HAVE NEPHEWS OLDER THAN HIM. So creepy. Thanks for that, Japan.

Seriously though, you gotta admit that he's hot (or at least super pretty in the face). The rain doesn't hurt either.

ETA: I just watched the ending... I don't want to watch the rest anymore... It's gonna make me sad.
uisceros: (Yamapi)
I just finished marathoning Proposal Daisakusen. I don't know why, but suddenly I had a massive urge to watch it. And since it's a jdrama (and thus nice and short), I didn't get antsy at all. I love jdramas, they're so easy to watch.

So, Pro Dai... I'll talk more about it later, because I want to sleep, but I enjoyed it a lot. Not my favorite drama in the world, but adorable and sweet.

But how did I not know Nana and her legs and Yuta (AND Takano) were in it?! If I had known that, I would have watched it ages ago. Nana is one of my favorite Japanese actresses (for some reason most Japanese actresses don't leave an impression on me. I only have around five I really love, not that I dislike the others or anything), and Yuta is one of my favorite Japanese actors.

In fact, while I love Yamapi a ton (though I object to his hair in this... too much like baby!Yamapi), and find Takano a hot piece of older-man ass (Fujiki Naohito, for those who aren't hip to my random nicknames... I never remember his real name, so I always calls him "Takano", the name of his character in Hotaru no Hikari), I was ALL OVER Yuta in this show. Why so hot, Yuta?
(It was totally the hair. I like the longer scruffier hair. Plus his character reminded me a lot of Osamu's character from Atadan, which made me happy, and also reminded me of Osamu, who is sex on legs. One day I'm going to rank my favorite Japanese actors [it's complex, and involves three tiers]... one day...)

I think I managed to get away with fast-watching because I didn't cap. Well, I capped a bit, but not much. It was liberating. But regardless, what I did cap was usually weird stuff. I'll post some later, because right now the caps are spread between my computers...

But I do want to post these two... This one happened to be the first cap I took.

I was all like "AH! Jesus!"
The next one is under a cut, because it's spoilery, kinda maybe )

Everyone else was listing their favorite dramas ([livejournal.com profile] dangermousie, [livejournal.com profile] princess_dexter, [livejournal.com profile] cranberrysheep...), and I cannot resist a meme, so here we go! I've done this already, with explanations (well, I did MOST of it with explanations), but it's infinitely easier just to list stuff, so I did! I only did 5 for kdramas though... I haven't watched very many kdramas to completion.

Some of these dramas show a theme to what I like. Some don't. I tend to like just about all dramas (there's only two so far that I didn't like), so it gets confusing.

Jdramas
1. Hachimitsu to Clover
2. Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu
3. Summer Snow
4. Byakuyako
5. Kou Kou Kyoushi 2003
6. Gokusen 1
7. My Boss My Hero
8. LIFE
9. Buzzer Beat
10. Atashinchi no Danshi

My jdrama trends are the best to judge me by, since I watch the most jdramas by far. Basically this list says about me:
- I like slice of life dramas. A lot.
- I apparently like violence in my jdramas.
- I generally like older protagonists.

Twdramas
1. Love Contract
2. My Queen
3. Mars
4. Prince Turns to Frog
5. Wish To See You Again
6. Why Why Love
7. Meteor Garden
8. Fated to Love You
9. Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu (Taiwanese Hana Kimi)
10. It Started With a Kiss

What the Twdrama list says about me is kinda weird, since they're all over the place:
- I watch twdramas for the actors. Every single one of these dramas I can name all of the main actors (and quite a few of the secondary cast), tell you a bunch of other stuff they were in, and then fangirl them.
- I'm really into the "hero who is a total ass" type.
- I like atypical twdramas.

Kdrama
1. Triple
2. Coffee Prince
3. Dal Ja's Spring
4. Hello My Teacher
5. My Girl

Poor kdramas, I just don't watch them that much... Anyway, what they say about my taste:
- I really love when there's a romance between an older woman and a younger man (I'm also basing this on "Still, Marry Me", which I'm currently watching).
- I generally like my kdramas to be low key.
- I like female characters who have a career, and aspirations for greatness in their field.

I finally finished Kurosagi people! I can't believe it took me so long, I mean, I started it last June. I was almost finished with it too, but for some reason never got around to finishing it.

Well, because the Drama K.O. is kicking my ass in gear, I went ahead and finished it.

The ending was satisfactory. I knew there was UST, so I didn't expect a hugely tidy ending (ala One Pound Gospel), but it was much better than I thought it would be. I'm NOT going to be watching the movie (I've already been warned, so no...), so in essence I am done with Kurosagi for good. Kinda sad.

Anyway, a few caps from episodes 10 and 11.

Pi's so pretty when he emotes

The rest (obviously contains spoilers for the end of Kurosagi) )

So thank you, Kurosagi. You've provided me with lots of pretty angsting, and Pi-cleavage. And there's no better gift in the world than that.

I finally finished Buzzer Beat. Yay for me! (I had skimmed the episodes before, so I knew what happened... either way, I adored that show! It gave me lots of good vibes. Plus, gratuitous shirtlessness!)

I made a list of all the dramas I've started but haven't finished, and have decided that I shall finish them. I have 36 series I've started and not finished. Some won't be finished for awhile (I have a great aversion to viikii and don't watch there much at all, so I'll have to wait for sub groups), some probably won't be finished at all (looking at you, Meteor Garden 2). But either way, it's a good goal for me to have. I like to finish things.

Next up: My Queen (2 episodes on viikii, but I love it enough that I'll willing to suffer), followed by Kurosagi and Stand Up!! (3 episodes left of each).
uisceros: (Night)
I decided to follow the rest of my peeps, and do my top 12 drama boyfriend list.

In response to [livejournal.com profile] cranberrysheep's Drama Boyfriend Playoffs, I listed my top 12 (well, technically it was 13, but who's counting) ideal drama boyfriends. And then [livejournal.com profile] ambergold and [livejournal.com profile] princess_dexter made more detailed posts, and well, I decided to as well!

And because I wanted pictures (and since a lot of my choices are from dramas I watched ages ago, when I didn't know how to screencap) I didn't have any ready to use caps, so I spent awhile going through my big ol' folder of drama discs. But this also meant I spent awhile rewatching my favorite parts of various dramas. But I'll get to that later.

Amusingly about half are from twdramas. Apparently I still love me some Taiwanese men after all ;P. Oddly, a lot of my choices are from unpopular dramas as well. And I totally have actor repeat offenders (three of them, actually!)

Anyway, list! (Note, the frst 5 aren't really in any concrete order. I love them all too much to choose between them)

OMG love this show so far. TOTALLY adorable. The boys are utter geeks, and I just want to squish them to me, because they're too cute. 很可愛!!

I'm being flailing about Yamapi. He's much too adorable for words in this show. Never mind the fact that he was only around 17/18 during filming. I was 19 then, thus it isn't creepy. Besides, as long as he's not baby!Yamapi (see IWGP), then all is good! Anyway, he's adorable and I love him.

Yamapi and Hiroki hitting on statues. Speaking of! I saw something similar to that in Seoul.

More caps )

So, I'm on episode 8 right now. I should finish it today or tomorrow. And then I might start watching a LOT of Christmas movies, because despite the snow, it doesn't feel Christmas-ey yet.

Stand Up!!

Dec. 20th, 2009 09:40 pm
uisceros: (Shun-kun)
So on my quest to find a drama to watch, I downloaded four possible choices: Kisarazu Cat's Eye, Stand Up!!, The Vineyard Man, and TRICK.

I watched one episode of Kisarazu Cat's Eye, and quite enjoyed it. It is filled with actors I already know (Okada from V6! Sho from Arashi! TakaC! Masa from IWGP! [yes, I know that's not his real name] Takeru from Atadan! [also not his real name, but whatevs] Narimiya Hiroki!), so that makes life easier in general. I'm also highly amused by it all.

I skimmed The Vineyard Man, and I already know I'll like it. I just, apparently, really need a shorter drama right now. But OMG is Yoon Eun Hye adorbs.

I tried TRICK, but the copy I found is just bad quality. Either I'll have to suck it up, or find a better copy. Either way, it's not happening now.

And then I watched Stand Up!!. I've known about it for awhile, but never got around to watching it (I almost always watch strong romances, which is why some things, even if they're good, or classic, get pushed aside). Now it has two of my favorite jdrama actors in the world in it: Shun and Yamapi. Lisa always tried to get me to watch it by bringing that fact up time and again (what can I say, I'm easy... give me pretty pretty boys, and I'm good). Course Pi was only 16 in this, but who's counting? (And I'm only 16 months older than him)

Anyway, I'm enjoying it. I'm only on episode 3 (I'm currently on a strange Inuyasha fanfic binge which is dividing my time... Anyone know any good stories?), but it's pretty epic so far. I'm amused by how they're all such dorks. Like Pi's a train otaku, Shun can't talk to girls without comparing them to his soccer ball, Hiroki wants to see panties all the time, and Nino's just a geek. AND PI'S TEETH! *cries*

I know that the swastika is a Buddhist symbol. I lived in Asia for 4 months, I saw it a lot. But still, every time I see it I get that nervous laugh you get when someone says something really inappropriate, but you can't say anything... Yeah. Oh, swastika... why you gotta mess me up?

So I actually finished Ikebukuro West Gate Park. LOVED IT. Loved Nagase's face. Loved Hikaru (kah-razy). Loved baby!Yamapi. Loved it ALLLLLL. It's the first drama I've finished in MONTHS. (It was all highly satisfying to see stuff take place in areas I'VE ACTUALLY BEEN! I was in Ikebukuro West Gate Park, I ate at that McDonalds, I was right by that Tokyu Hands, I SAW THE IKEFUKURO! Highly satisfying!)

Baby!Yamapi, Nagase, and Sato Ryuta chilling on the sign, which guess what... I SAW! I even took a picture of it!

It's my last night here in Japan. Tomorrow we leave for Taipei, where we'll be for a couple more days before HOME.

We're both SO READY to go home. I've really enjoyed my time in Taiwan, and my vacations in Korea and Japan. But I am so so so ready to go home. So ready.

We've recently been obsessed with imitating SS501's totally adorable english. Especially "Hollywood Bowl"... It stems from GD (in his infinitely great "American" accent) not being able to say "heart", but being fully capable of saying "heartbreaker"... No idea.

TODAY WAS AWESOME.

First we decided to go and do something actually related to Japanese culture. We went to Asakusa (touristy type place) today, and went to Sensouji temple and the Kaminarimon gate. It's funny to see the differences between Chinese, Korean, and Japanese religious places. Chinese temples are GAUDY (but in the best possible way), Korean ones are fairly plain (or at least the one I saw), and Japanese ones are kinda in the middle. ALSO PAGODAS!

The pagoda at Sensouji!

We transfer trains at Ikebukuro, so we always are making random Ikebukuro West Gate Park references (which is amusing, since I have yet to see it... though I AM going to watch the first episode today!). Well today we ACTUALLY went outside to the park. It was cold, and dark, but Nagase was ONCE IN THAT AREA, and that is good enough for me!

Ikebukuro West Gate Park, Nagase not included...

Akihabara (WITH OTAKU), and The Lockup restaurant )

After we took pictures in a picture booth (we've done it EVERY SINGLE DAY so far). We have a set of poses based on inside jokes that we do. Our next set will be based on Big Bang, which is highly dorky and funny.

We then were still kinda tipsy, so we bought some cigarettes, and smoked like bad kids. BAD KIDS. Apparently when we drink we feel like smoking. It's weird.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day of awesome!!
uisceros: (Yukiho)
Recently I've been feeling nostalgic over Byakuyako. Yes, Bya, one of my favorite dramas, and also the most messed up piece of fiction I've ever seen. Seriously. Not for the faint-hearted.

Anyway, I was skimming my caps (of which I am oddly missing a lot of), and knew icons were in order. So here are the few I made. Apparently I am in a red/orange mood recently.

001. Ayase Haruka as Yukiho,
002. Taki (Yamada Takayuki) as Ryo
003. Taki/Ryo chilling in front of the Tokyo Tower. (Taki icons are sooo hard to find. I need to make more, preferably not while he's in dirty hobo mode...)

Yeah, it's 2am. I'm dead tired. I should be sleeping. Hell, I should have been sleeping hours ago.

But... BUT...

Instead I am watching Buzzer Beat episode 8 raw. Because I cannot help myself. I was checking for the episode shortly after it aired (being in this time zone makes it easier for me to keep track of when shows air. Seoul and Tokyo are both one hour ahead. China, Hong Kong, and Singapore are all in the same timezone as me. Nice and simple.

ANYWAY, Buzzer Beat. OMG I love that show. I watch it with a rabidity not seen since Atadan. I half love, half hate watching shows as the air. It's annoying since I want to know what happens ASAP, but on the other hand that keeps me interested. (ASIDE: WTF NATSUKI?! Okay, yeah, totally hate her. She's getting into the kdrama secondary girl-bitch category, which is not a good place to be...)

Still watching and obsessing over What Happened in Bali as well. I'm on episode 11, but then I got impatient (I had to leave and actually do stuff, which meant I couldn't watch more, but I HAD to know what happened!) and skimmed through the episodes up until 16. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG Buzzer Beat episode 7!!
